I think it's nice to believe that Neil remembers the names of leads or their chosen ones but that doesn't seem very realistic, IMO. He is running a billion dollar jewelry empire. These articles, like everything else, is part of a well-oiled marketing and PR machine for ABC/Disney and Neil Lane.  Neil and ABC have PR departments who craft his talking points and provide photos of the ring.

JMO, but I think that Neil Lane's statement is co-written/influenced by TPTB. They knew that Vienna was not the popular choice, and didn't want to give an effusive statement. 95% of the time, though, Niel Lane has spoken about how madly in love the final couple is and how the ring was perfectly picked for the finance.

I don't think it's unrealistic to think that Neil being a seemingly detail oriented person would at the very least keep some sort of notes that he could reference. This isn't his first rodeo and he knows more than likely he will be interviewed. Whether he can remember their names is neither here nor there. The original point of bringing Neil's interview up was that he wasn't going along with the ruse that MF put forth in the finale that Chris may not propose and that he was conflicted even while escorting the F2 to the limo. That well oiled PR machine clearly didn't give Neil a heads up about the edit.

this has probably been discussed already but found a body language experts analysis interesting cos I was picking up some weird vibes between them during aftr including the fact that he mini-stumbled at the beginning of his answer about why he loves her so much -- maybe they had a fight prior to their media rounds -- when jimmy asked if they've had a fight things got a bit awkward there again...

That's the thing, I don't expect there to be any physical evidence or possibility to track them down, since we all know these two are not into SM. It's the fact that they haven't so much as referenced them in any interviews. All the successful couples have talked about the safe house visits when asked if they've spent much time together after filming. These two just said they've spent some time together, not much, and that she drove to the farm a couple of times. That combined with their awkwardly unaffectionate behaviour immediately made me think that maybe they just haven't spent as much time in each other's company post show as some of the other couples. And if they haven't then that begs the question, why?

Really? Gosh, sure look affectionate enough to me. True, they were not hanging all over each other like past Bachelor couples (and, Emily & Jef comes to mind) but we all know how that ended up. Instead, they acted more like SeanCat and we all know how that turned out.

this convo is fascinating given the fact that CS is admittedly a touchy feely guy who the older he gets the more touchy feely he realized he is and that's the way he knows someone cares for him -- he said this to kaitlyn in one of their convos. it's very easy to see how physically affectionate he is on some of his dates...his face also becomes animated, blushing, veins on his forehead, expressive when he's with someone he's into... he's not that hard to read...at all!

Love this couple together, but am a bit concerned that Chris seems to post onto SM so much about Witney his dance partner & so very, very little about Whitney. Hope there is nothing wrong in paradise!! Know he is trying to promote DWTS for himself & Witney, but this should not be at the expense of his relationship. He had said in an interview he thinks that he should take Whitney to the beach for a romantic picnic, wonder if he even did that small thing for her.

Sean did post pictures with Peta while at practice but also tweeted and posted a lot with and about Catherine.
