I came here to post my thoughts on the leading vs. laid back relationship dynamic, since it was off topic in Becca thread. IMO, the ONLY thing that matters is whether the two people in the relationship are on the same page, and each is comfortable with their own "role" and their partner's "role." Doesn't matter a bit that anyone else would look for a different dynamic in their own personal relationship.

Also my opinion that Chris desires a woman who will take the lead in their personal life while he runs the show in his business life, and in that sense, Whitney is a perfect match for what he wants, because she is comfortable taking the lead. As long as they are on the same page with what they want their partner's "role" to be, it is not for anyone to judge whether it is "good" or "bad." MY

I know I am a little late to the conversation, but wanted to add my thoughts.

Haven't both Whitney and Becca said that they are friends? I'm assuming they have talked about how Becca felt (or didn't) about Chris. It certainly would be more true than the highly edited scenes we all saw. I think Whitney got all the answers she needed from the people around her. Good for her not watching it.

How nice is that? Surely unusual for this show.

Beccas IG post said they'd texted and had phone calls so clearly in contact post show. It's just so refreshing, and I'm sure whitney has talked with her about everything

My guess is that they have talked since they filmed the FRC. Becca talked about the phone calls they had and I don't think that they had cellphones during filming. Also, I noticed that Whitney made it clear that she was not going to "lose" herself for Chris. That is why she did not quit her job. Smart lady.

Whitney said her best friends from the show were Becca and Kaitlyn in a interview as well.

Yep, Chris just said the same thing on his interview with Ryan S. IMO the way he talks about Becca is someone who is Whitney's current good friend ... very matter of fact ... vs. someone he got to know in the bubble.

I also wanted to add my 2 cents on a post in former thread from mindless who was speculating on the video of Chris & WHitney.

Let's all keep in mind that Chris & Whitney are being interviewed over and over again for national television programs, which would be intimidating and exhausting for anyone.I have been in PR & marketing for 20+ years and have worked with executives at every level who are absolutely HORRIBLE on camera and much more engaging in person or even when speaking in front of a packed audience of thousands. Yet, you put a camera and mike in their face - even for a corporate video - and they come across wooden, uncomfortable and insincere.

Whitney is not an actress or a model or news announcer or anyone who wants to be in front of a camera professionally. She appears trying very hard to stay poised and classy so she can continue to be effective and respected in her profession and frankly just get the obligation over. Just the fact that she is working from her apartment while Chris is practicing speaks volumes to me.
