Chris Soules - Whitney Bischoff - Bachelor 19 - Discussion

Regardless of all the "conflicts" real or otherwise, Whitney and Chris are together. Neil Lane's words IMO are meaningless, as he is more or less on the payroll. So think about it this way. Don't you think if he were getting engaged to Becca he would have said "he picked this ring out for Becca?" I think so.

At this point in time it really makes no difference if you were a Whitney fan or a Becca fan and which of these ladies you saw for Chris. We all saw different things and will continue to dissect the info out there. While, I am a happy fan, I have repeatedly stated that until the invites go out, I will wait and see.

From my perspective, from what I see on my TV, I think Whitney and Chris have a good chance of making it. I believe the relationship starts when the filming ends. If time passes and Whitney and Chris don't end up together, I firmly believe it will NOT have anything to do with Becca. There will be not be unresolved feelings on Chris's part (IMO). Becca will not come between Chris and Whitney. Also, IMO a lot of the conflict and crying we saw from Chris was he felt terrible having to send the girls home and hurt them.
That was the conflict. Along that thought process, I think this is the reason he looked so conflicted at F3 rose ceremony. He was trying to decide between his F3 and F2, not F1 (that was already decided by him..Whitney). IMO.

I believe it was Andrew Firestone who purchase his own ring.

A jacket and a necklace... those sound like parting gifts for rejected contestants.

Whitney got what really mattered to her - Chris.

^^^i don't think anyone would dispute that Whitney got what she wanted. Whether the same holds true for Chris is another matter but we've been beaten that proverbial horse to death.

The show probably purchased the necklace too and maybe even the jacket for that matter. JMO but I think giving someone an engagement ring is pretty significant...C and W are building a future together. We don't really know whose idea the necklace and the jacket were. Chris gave Whitney the ring because he wanted to. JMOAA.

IMO Chris would have picked Whitney in the end regardless of where Becca stood emotionally.

Becca may have had the last LCD date but Whitney had the most important LCD date. One of his biggest insecurities was his small town lifestyle and the fear that the woman he loved would leave him. Not once did I hear Chris say that he was insecure about the bowling alley. IMO, It was very important to Chris to bring the girl he was going to get down on one knee for to his home.

MVMOM, IA with you. Chris had already made his decision before Becca's LCD. IMO, Chris pushing Becca for answers was producer driven just like the conflict to the end was producer driven.

I don't know if Chris insecurities about his home town had anything to do with Whitney to be honest. When it comes to Whitney everything was laid out. She was already in love, she was willing to move to Iowa without seeing the place. There was no problem there for Chris or Whitney. Whitney was all in so it didn't matter if he lived in a hole she was in it to the end. Whitney problem was Chris choosing her in the end. That was her only problem.

Although Chris knew he had Whitney to the end, he was still pursuing Becca. I don't know whether he was asked by TPTB to push Becca for some sort of declaration of love on their LCD. What is amazing is that Chris was crying in a screencap/video wearing the same clothes form Becca LCD. Why was he crying if he had already decided to pick Whitney.

IMO Chris was at a point from what I saw on my tv of giving up all his declarations of having a wife and her moving to the farm immediately for Becca until he was told to think logically by producers and his sisters.
