I don't think Chris was conflicted at all, I think he feel for Whitney as early on as the Wedding crashing date and it grew from there. Everyone else was part of the storyboard that TPTB wanted to present. Chris even said while proposing that on that first date with Whitney he said to himself " this girl is perfect for me". The lead says and does a lot of positive things/words to both the F2 (that's his job, sometime to the F3 person too), happens every time .

I happen to agree strongly with what is bolded. CH has stated he knew it was Whitney from Bali on but IMO it was Whitney before Bali. I remember watching HTD with all of the final four, and the only family that we saw Chris ask for their blessing was Whitney's. The US Weekly magazine article made mention of that and also wrote that Whitney's family was the only one actually asked - which matches exactly what we saw on the final edit. IMHO had Chris asked any other family it would have been shown - but it was not. While this was or could have been a big clue before the FRC, it's still a big clue now that we know that Chris actually picked Whitney. IMO the reason Whitney's family was the only one asked was because Chris knew then if not actually before then who his F1 was going to be.

The show did their best to create the possibility that it could have been someone else and they really did a very good job at that - but then again that's their job and they're pretty darn good at it. They showed only what they wanted us to see to create the traditional story-line we see season after season - and hide the fact that Chris proposed to the only girl he asked for family blessings from.

I suspect the clinic offers the egg freezing service to their employees either free or at a serious discount because it's best if their female employees can assure their patients, "I did it too, and here's what I experienced..." She said she did it three or four years ago, so she has them locked in at a great age. (silly face) As her partner on the Chicago talk show said, this is a great idea for young women who aren't concerned so much about conceiving their first baby but might want to use their 26 yr old eggs for a pregnancy when they're 36. That's something I never considered so promoting this idea on a national stage is a huge win for the clinic, and Whitney too -- though it's too late for me personally, ha.

It's part of her job duties. I think egg frozen is a serious topic and what she is doing is very meaningful. It's not just tabloid material and it shouldn't be. Yes, her employer want to use her name to promote their company. But raising public awareness of egg frozen is still positive and very important. I considered to froze my eggs few years ago. My boyfriend and I didn't want child at that moment, but we were not sure if we will change our mind in the future. However, at that time, the price was very expensive, and I was a little bit scared. I am kind of regret that I didn't go through the procedure at that time since younger egg is healthier.

I think she is very brave to share her experiences and I admire what she is doing.

Huge time savings.

I guess I find people using their 5-minutes to promote and further the career that they already have worked hard to build a no-brainer. Who wouldn't.  Even supplementing your regular income with extra Bachelorette stuff, like Ash and JP did seems like something anyone would do.  It's when people want to live off club appearances, shilling stuff online and basically make a living off being an ex Bachelor/Bachelorette with no other job that I get a bit turned off.

I'm also able to make the distinction between the two, relaxing.   I'm also able to discern that GMA chooses how to promote their show, not the person appearing on the show.

Some may not know that freezing your eggs was originally a way for women undergoing treatment for cancer to have children - if they survived their cancer treatment of course. 

I don't understand why anyone would bash Whitney for educating women stuggling with infertility and/or cancer about their options. I don't understand why anyone would attempt to equate this with selling scarves or diet pills either, but hey - that's just me.

As far as IVF and that whole ball of wax, you will never find a greater fan than moi.
I owe my 1 yr old grandson that I love dearly to this process.
IVF is very expensive. If you are lucky enough to have insurance coverage it is generally limited.
It can be painful both physically and emotionally. My daughter gained 15 lbs in the process even before implantation. It is a hormonal roller coaster. Think of PMS times 1000.
Implantation does not always take the first time and when it does, you might be carrying multiple babies. That puts you into a high risk category.  
Then there is future embryo storage and fees-- 10K a year.
So freezing eggs is the very tip of the iceberg.
Most people know nothing about this stuff unless educated and that is generally because they are facing these issues.
If someone is coming on a morning show to educate viewers to provide resources, support and information, personally I think it's a great service.
My 2 cents toward the food fight.
