I’ve actually never told anyone this so this could be a juicy detail but Roberto was my first overnight date, then it was Chris and Frank was my last one. I knew it was down to Roberto or Frank. I was still torn a bit but I was pretty sure it was Roberto who was going to be the final one. I don’t know if you remember my season but Frank left me in Tahiti so I was pretty sure it was Roberto but there was still something inside of me that was thinking, “What if?” and I didn’t want to tell Roberto that. The funny thing is I actually told Roberto on our first date back in L.A. that he was the one I sent Chris home and didn’t let him propose to me because I didn’t want to put him through that and Frank left me to go back to a girlfriend he had in Chicago. If I had known Frank wasn’t going to be around I would have told Roberto in the suite that it was going to be him … I’ve never told anybody that! See give me a few drinks and I’ll tell you anything, you are smart ladies!

A reaction like what Kaitlyn has to Shawn is a bit unusual so they showed it. Many leads do not peg their F1 (again huge IF at this point) right out of the limo. Despite what we think or they say post season.
Plus she went ahead and gave the FIR to him unlike perhaps other leads that do zone into their F1s that probably are persuaded to spread the love around. The FIR gave him even more screen time in episode 1 than other past F1s.

Again IF he is. He just may not (though I totally think he is at this point).

1. How can we know he's the frontrunner that's been shoved to the audience when it's been one episode? He will start to fade amidst all the drama when Nick rolls into town and knocks him off his fir-love at first sight-maybe/maybe not pre-fs visitor pedestal. 
2. Whenever something is interesting- Kait's over-the-top reaction to Shawn, for example, they will show it. It's more about entertainment than keeping the f1 hidden imo.

I agree, and the last three F1s have been super obvious, with the majority of unspoiled people being able to figure it out. I don't even consider Cat to be hidden as she herself has said that she just chilled/laid back and didn't talk to Sean too much the first few weeks because she didn't think she was going to win. I just don't think there was much to show with her early on. Chris was hidden, but I think that season was an anomaly in so many ways.

And true to point - he has barely got any ST this last episode. Not sure he will get 1on1 time shown after the kupah drama has played out but that is a possibility.

As I said, she did have a huge reaction to him (and he to her) plus he did get the FIR which they always show. In fact for Ashley H she made such a big deal about her FIR in ep1. They had to showcase Shawn. There was no way they could hide it. But they could push him into the background slightly going forward.

Just curious. Does anyone know when TPTB usually renew the season for The Bachelorette?

Have no idea what RS is going to share today but I have an inkling that tptb have an especially good handle on "embracing" spoilers this season and that whatever came out might have been leaked to him that maybe new info today was also calculated ..I think the reveal early that nick was coming on the show still ended up in a LOT of reaction and a lot of stress for K /buzz so they may be releasing new info

In any case here's my hunch right now:
K had sex with Shawn
-his social media tweets of them kissing, "first kiss" "love at first sight" him choosing K etc. have a potential to be geared toward justifying his feelings and therefore his action
- the screenshot evidence supports that... K's face when Shawn comes to visit her in Dublin seems to be a bit on the mischievous side
- from N & K's chemistry during this week's episode to me imho the kisses and cuddling looks much less "hot and heavy physical vs. passionate and emotional". Their kisses are tender and speak of a "deeper connection" more so than "fiery wanna get in your pants" which would be the kind of passion I expect to have blind her thoughts into the "oopsie just fell into sex" -- her first kiss with shawn was more passion with that sexy factor IMHO
- they're being VERY deliberate about including the clip where Nick called Andi out on the abc site for this season -- not any other clip mind you.I think the edit is setting up a "lust" vs. "love"
Will the guy who "sl*tshamed" Andi be ok with K's having sex with someone else? (they've used the term "sl*tshame" repeatedly and purposefully made it a big hoopla)
- I also think nick's positive (relatively i.e. without villian mask) edit is very fishy to me right now -- the soundtrack has dropped and you can actually see nick being very considerate of K in several ways without it seeming doubtful or creepy he actually comes across as a bit of a sweetheart in that way... imho they're setting that up for a purpose and not to be nice to K or N
- there's a "moth to a flame" reference and "risking it all for nick" and "she's her own worst enemy" they're being very upfront about how drawn she was to nick but then alluding to sabotage and risk taking potentially in vain

would be interesting to see if the rumors remockered is hearing (she knows Nick's family) is true that he may have walked out midday/walked out and come back and/or K went after him...auntielove's spoiler from a source was also similar that nick left around HTD week/week 7

on the flip side I do think shawn is being set up as the frontrunner more so than other guys and he is set up for positive publicity which makes it seem like he'd be tb candidate at the same time they had a sm post comparing ben H and ben z as bachelor potentials so maybe they're looking in that direction instead? in any case the possiblity that shawn is being set up for tb contradicts this theory. at the same time the clear devotion and very early "in love at first sight" approach of shawn's (other guys calling him a creepy fan) could set him up as the guy who'd go all the way with her.

Another reason i think it's less likely nick would be sex guy is the look of sheer anxiety and fear on his face on his way to the hotel room -- he knows he's going to be chastized and unless he ended up saying "who cares" midway cos they weren't gonna cut him a break anyways -- the likelihood of him going "all in" in that setting seems low

You make a lot of good points. I have a question...we have seen a preview clip of Jared on a bed of rose petals, he's in a suit and K is in a dark (navy?) gown ans silver shoes. Do we know when this was? Possibly before a RC? I think it could also be a red herring about who slept with K. This clip incriminates Jared. Depending on whether Jared is still around when the deed was done, I see Shawn and Jared as real possibilities. Shawn may have done it out of insecurity, to 'prove his feelings' for K are real, and it may have just made K more confused.

It seems like it's being pointed too blatantly to Jared with the rose petal bed SCs.

Also mentioned I had some information regarding Kaitlyn’s season I wanted to share. Since I posted the episode-by-episode spoilers back on May 18th, I told you I was going to try and find out any details I could about the finale and what went down. Well, I’ve been able to find out something regarding Nick that, once again I can’t prove, but it definitely happened.

Nick was the first guy out at the final rose ceremony, he proposed, and Kaitlyn said no.

So shawn is the winner.
