If the spoiler that she doesnt pick anyone is right, then I say good for her.

This is her life and she has the right to make the choices that work for her, not me, not you, not Nick, not Shawn - her!

It takes courage (and you can just imagine the pressure TPTB were putting on her to choose someone!) to do the unexpected and walk away, so kudo's Kaitlyn! :yougogirl:

Allowing a guy to think there is a future, pick out a ring, practice his proposal speech and get down on a knee is something entirely different.

Leading people on is a given though. Once they get down to the final 4, I'm sure they all think they are "the one". We don't know that she let Nick and Shawn propose but the producers need material. Can't just stop production. I feel for Kaitlyn and all the guys that think they fell in love with her. Hopefully she can still be friends with some of them after all this blows over.

I watched the Ryan Seacrest video and just see the same Kaitlyn we saw last season although tired. Maybe also tired of being joined at the hip with Britt who tends to demand a lot of attention. On GMA Kaitlyn barely could get a word in because Britt jumped right in, sometimes interrupting her.

I've decided just to watch the season without taking into account RS' spoiler. I liked several of the guys last night including Shawn so just want to see how things go down. Hoping of course that RS is wrong.

I'm not going to stop liking Kaitlyn because she didn't  fall in love and refused to fake it. Love can't be forced. There was a  study once that claimed if you were put in a room with 100 members of the opposite sex all of whom on the surface fit what you are looking for, you will only have chemistry with three of them!  So it's really a miracle that any pairings ever come out of this mess. I just hope she survives the fallout with her spirit intact.

They pretty much all do that, don't they? I mean, I know that the past few Bachelorettes have been able to let the F2 guy go early, but obviously, that wouldn't have worked in this scenario (how can you let both guys go early?). And, usually, the Bachelorette was only allowed to do that because TPTB felt like she had already "paid her dues" (Ali had to deal with Frank leaving, Des had to deal with Brooks leaving, Andi had to deal with Eric's death, Emily was just Emily). It seems like Kaitlyn didn't really make too many concessions up until that point, except dealing with Britt. I doubt they gave her the choice.

I know that I've been hard on past leads for "leading" on the non-winners, but I really don't think they have the choice. If Kaitlyn were to tell Nick/Shawn in the FS that she wasn't going to pick them, they would probably leave before filming ended and she would be sued by TPTB.

I think she is with someone just a feeling.

Actually, I dont think RS said how or when she let them go...

This board has certainly been less active since RS's news yesterday  But this whole thing still isn't making any sense to me... So Kaitlyn had an "online relationship" with Nick prior to her season starting, to quote RS, "they were facetiming and texting all the time while Chris' season was airing", that's a fair amount of time to get to know someone. When Nick meets Kailtyn in NYC, they're making out, obviously a mutual attraction to each other, and I'm suppose to believe that in the 5 weeks of filming that are left, she would choose to have nothing to do with him?  

If Kaitlyn wasn't feeling it with anyone, why make the effort this season to change things around?  This season has been on lockdown since they went to Ireland. I don't understand why they're staying in Ireland for FD's after having already been there for 2 weeks? Just from a viewers perspective I would think that would get pretty boring to watch. To go from LA, to NYC, to San Antonia, and then 3 weeks in the same locale? Not to mention with HTD's both in Utah and then FRC at the mansion in LA, and to have Kaitlyn choose no one in the end would be a very anti climatic season. So why is MF tweeting this season is the best and sexiest season?

Tin foil hat here, but I think much of this was planned early on. I think Kaitlyn met/talked with Nick after having agreed or was in the process of signing to do the Ette, and she really liked him. So TP's agree to let Nick join mid filming knowing more than likely he would be her f1 and easier for them to control leaks. Or manipulate leaks. Travel destinations are all planned in advance, so HTD's and FRC were already planned with intent to keep things under wraps, so I just find this all very speculative. If this seasons filming schedule was like seasons past, I might not be as suspicious, but TP's went to great lengths to keep this season quiet, and MF is going to let it spoiled so easily from RS whom he dispises.... I'm thinking no way.

Someone that listened to RS's periscope Q&A said that RS said she let one guy go down on his knees to propose.
