Didn't they also add another week in? Spain was an additional week?

^Yeah they had basically two sets of the FDs/overnight dates with the week in Spain and then the actual FDs in Hawaii.

Universally in all of those seasons, FDs are happening, or are about to happen by this upcoming week. This year instead, we have the spoiled upcoming HTD (April 28) + GA's info that HTDs are this week. HTDs for all of those previous seasons tend to happen around April 20th-April 27th give or take.  I don't think we have time for them to be doing hometowns this coming week, still do FDs, and do the F2 stuff.

Occam's razor people.  Props to Kasha on her guess, I think the "twist" is probably FDs already happened. We are down to the F3 for HTDs this coming week, then the normal F2 stuff the beginning of May to fit in with the typical filming schedule.

I have added the actual premiere air dates to your list. That info is from Wiki.

To fit this trend and given May 18th is the premiere - at the least they'd have to have the FRC on May 11th leaving about a week prior to the premier. That means they only have about two weeks of filming left including MTP and LCDs.

Periscope update : Elan definitely in SF.  Hanging with a group of peeps at an apartment ... including Ben Flajnik.  IG - posted a sunset pic from the apartment. 

If there is a HTD today, Elan is not on it.
Since Elan was onsite in NY, San Antonio, and Dublin my guess is his guy or guys if more than one is/are done.

^ did I read somewhere that Elan is an Executive Producer now i.e. not a handler anymore for specific contestants?

He got a week off filming by the look of things...are producers always part of FDs? I believe jcrill was saying that during HTDs the company is based out of LA and not everyone goes to HTDs

And not every single person always goes to all the locals. I don't know what is up this season, but I'm sure we will eventually find out.

^Correct. Elan isn't really a handler/producer now. He is more a general story producer and around to facilitate the whole thing.

That makes sense.  
It explains why he was photographed talking with Nick in the pier pic in NY and why Nick approached him in San Antonio.

It would also explain why Elan was back in Cali supposedly in advance of others.  Not sure why he was with Kaitlyn on Easter Sunday outside Christchurch but it could just be because they went for a walk to work off jet lag.

Also, don't try to assign logical travel arrangements to FDs. Emily went from Chicago to Salt Lake to Phoenix back to Dallas, then LA- not bad, but sometimes it's crazy ( not strictly b-ette) but Sean went Houston to Seattle to Missouri ( as I recall, through LA) and then back to LA. Brad 2 was worse - he criss-crossed the country a couple of times ( and then I believe the dates were shown out of order- though that often happens with HTDs because they edit to show the best story.

There's no reason for him to be travelling other than for HTDs which we know must be happening now. I think they are starting West, and going East.

I'm guessing Chris's HTD will be filmed tomorrow, travel Monday, film Tuesday etc.

ETA: I meant to also mention, we know Chris is from Granite Bay but do we know that his parents still live there? (Please do not post addresses)

If we go by that, there are way too many days in the middle without a date. Seems really weird if we are to believe that Nick's HTD is on the tues apr 28. I am seriously wondering if his was the 2nd one done, and Chris's is actually the last. They could fly from Ireland and land in the east and go from east to west if in fact they are going to Mexico for the FD's. TO me it doesn't make sense to go from west to east, then back track west to Mexico again. I could be completely wrong though. I would of thought that the last HTD would of been today, but again, likely wrong. GRRR.

So I ask, what happened between Apr 16 and now then. That is a very long time to remain idle without filming. We know they filmed epi 6 and 7 in Ireland. So again, why would they of had 7 days idle since it is suspected that the first HTD is tomorrow or today?

I had the htd schedule as:

Epi 8 HTD's Ben, Nick
apr 17/18 travel back to USA
apr 19: HTD1 Ben
apr 20: travel
apr 21: HTD2
apr 22: travel
apr 23: HTD3
apr 24: travel
apr 25: HTD4
apr 26: RC 8

Since they would of arrived in NY possibly on the 18th, they could of traveled to Warsaw, Indianna for Ben's on the 19th and considering that is the weekend that a poster said that there was a filming crew there, that would make sense with my schedule.

They do the eastern stuff first, then go to the west and do Chris's last which may of been today since according to my schedule and many seasons in the past, the RC's were between the 24th and 26th.

I would think that they'd want to be in the west if they are in fact having their FD's in Mexico. TO me it makes sense that way.

They could fly straight into Boston and into NY with a change from Kerry International where they were the last we heard about them.
