Im sure they organise destinations well in advance so the lead most likely has no say. And don't the destinations they visit also put in a bid to be used?

I have been to Cancun years ago. I stayed at The Moon Palace resort which was gorgeous.

There are a lot of beautiful resorts in Mexico IMO.

Ireland is probably more expensive to stay than a lot of exotic places!

I am actually excited, I would love to see the Pacific Coast of Mexico.

I actually like that they are going places in the U.S. More.

^^ I have gone to Cabo 3 times the last 5 years I love it especially the smaller town of San Jose del Cabo

Me too, Stuck. The US is such an awesome country with so many unique sites to see. Nice that the show is highlighting some of them!!

I know quite a few really neat out of the way places that are BEAUTIFUL out west and most people never get to see them. Some in the south also. I say do more dates in those out of the way spots to show off this great country we live in. I love traveling overseas though I have to admit, but why not share the beauty here. (but oh some of the spots I know of we sure wouldn't get many spoilers )

As long as they go somewhere hot/tropical for FDs, with nice resorts and beaches, I'm good. Doesn't matter where to me or how exotic.

After traveling for 4 HTDs I think it's better for the lead to be closer to the US on the last leg. I thought Chris was so exhausted in Bali last season, and to fly all that way for 5 or 6 days when all we saw of it anyway was them strolling around . Didn't add much for me as a viewer and I could see why TPTB might not find such a trip worth it.

Oh definitely, and I wasn't referring to that with the exotic bit. I just meant that staying in one European country for two weeks saved them some money, since they didn't have to travel between countries by plane. And Mexico is pretty close, though depends on which part they're going to.

I don't think it has much to do with budget. I think they just like to change it up a bit as far as where they travel. Jmo.

I am confused how do sources know Nick got a HTD if they haven't even filmed the RC yet?
