Apparently, Chris's mother has a very good friend. Chris' mother mentioned to her friend he will not be home for Thanksgiving as he will be in Chicago. I don't know what "saw a blonde over there" means. If it was from a distance, although one mile away is pretty far, or if this friend was at the Soule's home.

I don't know what "when she was introduced as being from Chicago" means, I'm assuming it means when the show aired unless this lady was there during MTP which was filmed before TG.

Thanks! That's why I find it a bit strange that Chris and Whitney would spend their first TG alone just the two of them in Chicago. She said she wants a family because she doesn't really have one and then the first family holiday they spend away from family? Strange, unless they're worried about the secret getting out, but surely they could have worked around that somehow, if they wanted to.

In regards to Whitneys condo, keep in mind that when her mother passed away, she & Kimberly split her mothers estate. Mom had a nice job - VP of Human Resources.

Whitney has done well with her real estate investment and decorating skills. I thought her place was lovely and I can see why Chris was impressed with her lifestyle and why she wouldn't be eager to give it up.

Her family is split between Louisville, KY and Charlotte NC based on my sleuthing. But I am not sure what is appropriate to post, so I will leave at that.

Chris has a sister in Ireland too.

Yes, but according to the source they were in Iowa for TG, which is why people are assuming Chris was with Whitney.

Maybe it was Whitney's year to host TG and her sister/BIL, grandma, and uncle all came to town. Wouldn't be the first time a family has all come in from out of town for a holiday.
