Just thinking out loud here but wonder if she'd have to give her place up in Chicago at all? Maybe she keep it as a rental property for the short-term (remembering her mother's back up Career Plan advice) and then as a second home for the "off" season.

Normally after the FRC the lead and F1 get to spend a couple of days at the FRC venue alone - no camera crew (they pack up and leave immediately) and the couple can spend that private time checking each other for ticks (thanks to Brad Paisley for that image!). But this is a little unusual in that the FRC was held in Chris's home town on the family farm so the only way he and F1 could get alone time is if they went to Chicago. I think this may explain why this year they didn't spend Thanksgiving with his family.

I don't know if the Mom's friend was there and actually saw the "blonde" or if she saw her on TV and noticed she was from Chicago. She was told that Chris apparently went to Chicago for TG made her think Whitney was the F1. I don't know, but I don't think the family would have friends over and introduce them to the F1 or there's a blonde in the house, and no one mentions who she is other than just a blonde.

Chris is not suppose to reveal his F1, nor is the F1 supposed to reveal the outcome. Do you think they would have a "family" TG? The filming just ended and if I were the new couple, I would want that time alone, they didn't get their exotic week alone. cloud nine

And no one at that time would have recognized Kimberly, Grandma or Uncle Johnny, whereas much bigger risk of Chris being spotted at an airport in Kentucky or North Carolina.

They can always have secret visits without TPTB knowing. Several couple have done that.

Oops ... I corrected my post. I thought that Whitney's mom told her to have a career to always fall back on so it would make sense that she might not want to give up her condo too soon until she and Chris are on 100 solid footing ... or at all if she could hold onto it as an investment or second home.

On C and W last date when she was talking about her career and sometimes the future is unpredictable so it's good to have something to fall back on to take care of yourself. That's the way i took it. Her mother died suddenly and unexpectedly which i thought was also what she was referring to.

Chris has said he has spent a lot of time in Chicago visiting his sisters, so it would make sense to have the condo in Chicago as a second home.

I think it was because her father left when she was six months old, and her mother had to work and raise two daughters alone, the Mother told her to have a career and the ability to take care of herself financially.

Yes, that's possible, just seems like it would have to be planned in advance, and I'd be surprised if she'd made concrete plans for the week following the FRC. I think I'd want to keep my options open, but then again I'm not Whitney. question

I don't know what "saw a blonde over there" means. If it was from a distance, although one mile away is pretty far, or if this friend was at the Soule's home.

I don't know what "when she was introduced as being from Chicago" means, I'm assuming it means when the show aired unless this lady was there during MTP which was filmed before TG.
