There has been a lot of comment about this over in Becca's thread too. I find it interesting that so many of us view "Mother" as a disparaging remark from a suitor. A Mother can be hot, sexy, attractive, all those things, while being the most important thing - a woman whose traits and characteristics you would want to see in your own children. Seriously, I was complaining about my stretch marks one time and my husband told me "I love your stretch marks." I bust up laughing but he went on to say that they were beautiful reminders of what I was willing to go through to bear his children (mind you, the smallest of my 3 sons was 10lb 3oz so I have stretch marks!).

For a man who has made clear he wants children, to say Whit looks like a Mother is probably the highest compliment he could pay her. He had some other attractive women, he had some "connections", but in the end, she was the one he saw as the mother of his children.

Also, Chris would not have mentioned the word "Mother" if he had not meant it as a complement to Whitney as his own Mother was sitting in the audience and very happy with Chris' final choice. IMO.

I don't know how to do the quote thing on an iPad, but I just wanted to say that Whitney does not have any family in Chicago. Her sister, Kimberly, lived there when Whitney moved there but Kimberly now lives in NC.

Awwh what a sweet thing for your husband to say...must melt your heart...after you're done laughing of course! giggling

Thanks Not A Fan. I don't know why I was thinking her sister lived in Chicago and the beginning of the HTD was at her sister's place. I knew the out take was at Whitney's since it was the same furnishings as her into package. Whitney has a nice apartment :Nod:

Chris has family in Chicago I think...I also heard his fiance lives there... lolpanda

Grandma is in Louisville and I believe Uncle Johnny is in Lexington, KY. I could be wrong on Uncle Johnny.

I think those condos are very expensive too. She has done pretty well for herself.
