I find it so funny that people want to bash Ashley for being duped/derailed for a matter of weeks while there are people who go years/decades living a full lie without knowing ... She made a mistake and corrected it by having an ending with two of the best guys EVER!

Yeah, I have no doubt that the real life JP is a very gentle, thoughtful, empathetic, rational, and dare I say it, evolved, individual, who is probably the last guy in the world to fly into a jealous rage, or mistreat a woman in any way. I guess that's why all the speculation about him, and people ascribing possible traits to him which are the polar opposite of what he is all about, has seemed so ludicrous to me from the start. And I strongly suspect that it has seemed equally ludicrous to him and to his family. Ah, the wonders of television.

They are both very lucky indeed. But it was their emotional intelligence that got them this far. Whatever naivety Ashley has demonstrated in the past, she has made up for by gaining wisdom with/from JP.

No offense taken. I realize that most are on the JP train. That's great. I don't dislike him, just not on the train. And I realize that she has since changed her mind about JP. Still, I will be in the minority and find this amusing. *shrugs*
