I think this is a fair point but I am really hard pressed to understand
1. the imperative for "forecasting" issues in a relationship vs. showing the obstacles during the season to create doubt. in other words everything we see creates doubt and that's the material they had to create doubt with, why would we assume them showing these things is anything more than that when these issues are even oftentimes fabricated in previews through weird SC, splicing, edit etc. why would they be concerned with embedding "forecasting" information when they're creating a show for the sake of reviews? Nobody comes back to tptb for any couples breaking up being their faults and even if they did - so what?
2. how the "future forecasting" theory stands when you look at successful couples and see exaggerated and oftentimes fake doubt-creating issues being thrown? Are those also forecasting troubles in the relationship? such as how 'traditional' roberto's dad is and thus won't allow an independent girl who won't take care of his precious prized son as a real 'wife' or the whole talk about roberto being a player and rico suave smooth, or even the lack of real substance and communication between the lead and F1

I really think a majority of the edit that we see as "potential trouble" in often in fabricated or exaggerated form -- is there to create a show. tptb have nobody to answer to and for the most part almost no real interest in the intricacies of a relationship or it's longevity especially given the meager track record of the show
