During the show, I saw Josh always trying to please Andi. She gave him hell about him possibly cheating on her like her ex-boyfriend did just because he was an athlete at one point. He put up with a lot during the show. She questioned him constantly, whether it was all her doing or production pushing her to do it even more because they knew she was going to pick him and they needed a story line to create doubt, which CH essentially said they did. I really liked on Andi and Josh's last chance date when Andi told Josh he had put her through the ringer he very quickly responded with "What are you talking about? You put me through the ringer!" and she admitted she had.
The same could be said for the 6 months they had in public. Josh seemed to have given up a lot to be with her. I would say Josh worked very hard to please Andi and I think he finally was officially done with it about a month ago.
Your observations of MEandI during the show were what made many have a negative reaction toward ME and I. Unfortunately, Josh was not the only abused that season.
She appeared very hard around the edges, IMO during her season and this is one reason why her tears at CTN(Chris tells nothing), did not win a large group over.
Too little, too late, too forced. It's hard to have empathy for those that have none for others.
I sincerely hope this beautiful, privileged woman has learned a valuable lesson from this past (almost) 18 months. I hope she comes out the other side of her pain, in a better place.
Are you thinking "insidious death" on the part of both of them or just one? I noticed a cool down in the end of November based on their SM.
I'm curious what you are basing your second bolded statement on. Personally, I think Andi did win over a large group with her interview on Chris Tells All. She has since received a great deal of support and sympathy from fans and has managed to even sway some people who were a little skeptical of her originally. Whether it was her intention or not, I think it was a smart PR move on her part. I still would have liked to hear Josh's perspective on things, but I don't see that ever happening.

I can't speculate if it was both or one or the other. I doesn't really matter does it? Not to me. To them it's over.Laudergirl wrote:Kashathediva wrote:Agree. I don't know if she won anyone over beside her fans who were already on her side. Softening her image--is not winning someone over, IMO.
Those who aren't her fans, they are ready for her to be off their screens/mags etc and call it a day with her 15 minutes. Again, this is my opinion.

IMO once the engagement of any lead is broken that lead's star fades rapidly. Fans are more interested in wedding plans and babies than solo ventures as a single.
Perhaps Andi will be the exception. Hard to know.

This is so true, I found that to be the case in almost all of the breakup situations with the couples.

While I agree with this, Andi has actually sought out the stardom, so it remains how happy she really is to see it go.

I'm not aware of anyone keeping Andi from getting back to a normal life without publicity. I've not seen any evidence of the paparazzi lying in wait, ready to ambush her when she steps out of Kelly T's home. I've not seen photos of Andi having her privacy invaded while working, getting her car washed, grocery shopping or any other normal activity.stuckinsc wrote:aviej wrote:Well I think this "drop" in stardom would be good for Andi. Andi chooses to tweet and IG her "activities" which include eating burgers, dancing on counters while drinking wine and getting mani/pedis.

I would add Andi can't have her privacy invaded while working because she doesn't work.

I think she has proven it takes a lot of hard work pulling off the right kissy face. Not every one can do a selfie like that.KB_Mom wrote:Well said Fl Chica.

I'll have to take your word for it because I've never done a selfie or a kissy face, so maybe it's a lot more work than I think.
