That's true... he could've went to Melbourne under the guise of "media commitments" but no effort was made whatsoever by both parties. I really think the producers were involved since he seemed pretty content with the F1 in some of the interviews.

They might've seen each other in Sydney a few weeks ago though but it could have been very brief.

If it's a contract thing... surely the premise of the show is about finding lasting romance so surely they'd want the couple to actually SPEND TIME with each other to make it work. Especially when the relationship is so new and everything. Once you're separated from each other for a few weeks, it becomes so much easier to forget them. Learned from experience.

Funny in the episode with the ghost tour and the psychic and he asked her, "Is it a lasting relationship?" and the woman said said yes. Oh dear.
