Hi guys, it's my first time posting here! This is the first season of The Bachelor that I've been so emotionally invested in! I've enjoyed reading through your posts, and I love how friendly it is on this forum!

yvi123......wow, no idea, maybe the other Aussie friends have heard also. I am in the US so just relying on folks down under to fill us in on what's going on the ground. My bet is Channel 10 wants to do an exclusive since no word yet on the AFTR. I heard the ratings lately are doing better than last year's, can you guys confirm? If that's the case then they want to milk it for sure.

I saw someone post this under a post on facebook...yes, quite unexpected! I'm hoping it's nothing bad too! Can't wait to watch tonight!!!

The fact that they're releasing a statement after the show airs makes me paranoid as heck. Someone hold me. Haha, I am INVESTED. A Bachelor tragic, I am.

Could this have to do with the "shock" that happens while he's proposing? Maybe a Molly and Melissa situation again? Ha.

He definitely left SA with someone for sure, he said he was still with his special someone 2 weeks ago per interviews Emusha placed in the media thread.

Channel 10 is just trying to milk the ratings IMO. Even if they broke up that only happened in the last 2 weeks.

My guess on Ten pulling media interviews is to create a special which will be announced tomorrow morning. They have a big hit and want to milk it.

Yep Norcalgal, I said the same above, producers, TV stations and money, the right mix to create the sensation and also mis-direction to get more overnight ratings!!!!

Yep, he definitely left SA with someone since he confirmed it himself.

I wouldn't put it past Channel Ten to milk it for all its worth, hahah. After all, it is the first proposal of the series!

They are definitely milking it. I think because of the proposal it changed a lot of things. I did ask earlier in this thread (or another.. can barely keep them straight, haha) why no ATFR...

I cannot remember what I said exactly but I was concerned in the sense that, knowing there is a proposal, why no ATFR so milk it even more? Unless they want to create suspense? But with a proposal that type of suspense usually is about something negative and not positive. Who knows, maybe they eloped. haha...

Osher did say in his interview that I posted in this thread that he didn't know if there was going to be ATFR session.

But that could be all misleading, who knows.

I posted in the EPISODES thread just now a loooong narrative description of each significant moment in Sam and Blake's journey. I watched each of them in sequence as if they were one movie. There is nothing to indicate that anything prior to the proposal was negative only positive.

Only something after the proposal could effect things being negative. We will see...

(funny about the pregnancy rumour because I thought Sam looked maybe?? pregnant a bit in last night's episode. She definitely doesn't on her social media now. I attributed it to stress/eating during the show... and she still looked lovely and slim).

another article on the banned media... even the eliminated bachelorettes are banned from talking to the media. i'm trying to take this with a grain of salt, after all this show has been kind of a success for Ten after YEARS of horrendous ratings.

Aerina, I reading what you just posted. Channel 10 has had years of horrendous ratings. Wow no wonder they are milking it to the bones....eventually the media will get their hands on Blake and his F1, it's just a waiting game!!!!
