I didn't see that as a Freudian slip - I saw that as a warning shot. Nikki has said several times that she is waiting to be picked. In this conversation. she repeats JuanPa's earlier line that if Nikki left, he would be sad but he would go on. I think Nikki was trying to make it clear that she has choices too. She can do the "picking" as well.

Would you have left your daughter when she was 5 to move with a boyfriend across the country? He flat out said he was choosing Nikki over Camilia!

 

He said that, but it remains to be seen if it would actually happen.  I'm not saying he's lying, but it's a pretty low-risk statement from him. He may really think he would relocate, because in the abstract, it's a good compromise.   But neither one of them seems to have done any compromising in order for the relationship to move forward.  Except maybe for appearing on this show.  And they are getting paid for their time.

Whit, in general I agree with you.  But I do think moving to LA is not good for Camila in the long term.  She would in all likelihood stay in Miami with her mother and extended family and I think it is selfish of them to do this.  His career can do as much in Miami as LA, being he is most comfortable in Spanish speaking entertainment anyway.  Now if Carla also wants to move to LA to pursue opportunities, then that is a different story.

So I am sure that they have thought this over and decided it would not be a good move. My point was that Juan is a terrific father to Camilia and no matter what people think of him she does come first in his life and he has a great relationship with Camillia's mom. I wish more parents would co parent like the two of them.

I completely agree. I think JPG is a great and loving dad to Camila and also seems like a good son/brother/cousin. He and Carla have the kind of co-parenting relationship most kids would really benefit from. Now, I do think he needs to not show pics of any woman getting a spa treatment. I hope that they will not move, but Nikki has mentioned it multiple times in interviews given after CT, but before it aired. I think it is the wrong thing for Camila and honestly would lessen my opinion of Nikki and JPG.

I agree, from what we have seen thus far, Juan Pablo is a good father. I think that is why I was so surprised when there was discussion about possibly moving to LA w/Nikki. The only way I could see that work is if Carla and Camila moved also. I was also surprised that he would considering moving to be w/Nikki w/out giving her more of a verbal commitment or verbal acknowledgement of his feelings for her (i.e. an ILY).

I have never really been a fan of this couple, but I have immensely enjoyed following them post show. I would love to see them prove all the critics wrong (like me ) and actually make it as a couple. I have always liked Nikki, and it has pained me to see some of her behavior on the show. I don't like when she says things such as she likes the perks of being a celebrity w/out all the work that goes along w/it (such as posing for pictures w/fans, even when you don't really want to). That just seems so out of character for her because she seems to have a very strong work ethic in terms of her career. She seems to be one that knows that if you really want something, you have to work for it. Nothing is just given to you or handed out to you for free. I don't know, maybe all the pressure of being in the public eye finally got to her?

I can't wait to see the show tonight to see how they move their story forward. I am going out of town, so I may not be able to watch it till Sunday. I have a strong suspicion that there will be some sort of redemption arc for them as a couple as the show progresses. They are not being portrayed in a very positive light thus far, so that leads me to believe that both of them will have some sort of epiphany in terms of their relationship, and at least leave the show with their relationship going forward, but with lots of stuff to work on. Didn't the two of them seem to be very happy post CT show? That is part of the reason I think they will have some sort of resolution to their problems by the end of the show as well.

I think the two of them are very different, but opposites can make relationships work. I still think Juan Pablo comes across as too insensitive, too laid back and too noncommittal, but I don't think of him as negatively as I did before. That's just him. People can either take him or leave him. I think he has more good in him than bad. If Nikki is willing to love him w/all his faults, then I hope the relationship can work for them. Nikki has her faults also, as does everyone.

I think after the show is done airing, we will know more about where their relationship stands. They will either still be together or else they will break up. I'm looking forward to seeing their relationship status after the show as well as for the other couples, too.

As I watch Couples Therapy unfold, I keep mentally going back to Nikki and Juan Pablo's LCD. The two of them on the beach (or is it the boat) and Nikki asks JP "What happens when all this is over?" and JP answers "I go home and sleep in my own bed." Nikki counters "But not alone..." and JP just kinda shrugs it off. Sadly, I think that scene is pretty indicative of the whole relationship aand where they are at now.

has anyone read that evel dick and stephanie arent actually a couple? but that she wanted fame and money so she replaced dick's real gf amy to go on the show. There are pictures of her with WWE nick dinsmore from 2013 even on his twitter. How is that she said her and dick dated for 4 years?....

Watching the show now. Dick and some of the others are coming down pretty hard on Juan pablo. He said in therapy he still can't say I love you to Nikki because he does not feel it. They have a lot more issues than I realized.

TV has not been kind to this couple.

I am watching right now. I want to talk about the other couples. Treach and Cecily should just break up. Cecily you got together with him when he was with someone else, you don't get to keep holding up what you did with him is stupid. He hasn't lied to you about cheating. Run Treach Run!

Stephanie is a b****. Dick's secret isn't yours. He is the one with HIV, not you, you are a selfish horrible person. But this being filmed in June, them being broken up for 10 months, she could have been dating someone else from August to December of 2013. Either way, I am glad if Dick has someone else because to me Stephanie is a selfish not nice person.

JPG and Nikki just wow so far. Nikki you need to let this go. You are wonderful as you are, if someone doesn't love you for who you are then walk away. I think the problem is that JPG isn't there yet and she thinks he is but not admitting it.

Wow, I think that Evel's revelation will have a big effect on JPG, Nikki, Deanna and Chris and even John.

It doesn't seem to effect Cecily or Jenna. How sad that they are both so selfish and self centered. I am not sure how the men with them can stand to be around them.

I think we will see a softer side of JPG next week. Maybe this will be what helps him realize what he feels for Nikki.

but stephanies been engaged to nick dinsmore since 2009. How has she been with evel for 4 years? Her coldness towards him is all a show. I don't think they were ever together. She's on it for money and fame. When i tweeted this to evel he blocked me on twitter.....
