LOL, thanks Lucas I have used those tools myself on twitter to see who has fake followers, soooooooo it seems like they all had some fake followers....

 
Well, maybe, sort of.

The way the measurement algorithms work, both tools will treat any inactive twitter accounts as "not good" simply if they haven't sent any recent tweets. I think there's likely a percentage of twitter users just like me - we sign up for an account, follow a number of people we have some interest in but we never send out any tweets; we are going to be lumped into a "not good" category for anyone we follow. We really aren't fake - we're real people - but because we don't tweet we're not considered to be "good" followers.

To me this data is saying that either everyone has bought fake followers or no one has bought fake followers; that was the reason for using some accounts as a control. I believe all the people following Sean and Catherine and watching their account growth since the end of their season there has provided an oversight that would have picked up growth that wasn't organic. So IMHO that implies that anyone else with a similar distribution on their audit also has seen the same degree of organic growth, and that of this grouping no one has bought fake followers. Any fake followers would cause data that is markedly different but it's all pretty much the same.

I agree with you.  Like Lucas I have an account but never tweet and somehow I still end up with some fake followers.  It's almost impossible to unfollow your followers ( twitter should give you that option).  

OT - Click Followers - click the wheel icon - click block. Also, just because there is an egg avatar, doesn't necessarily mean it's fake. Always click on the user name to check the history of the tweets.

It depends if you think RS is proof haha. Back in episodes two or three, Drew already had over 50K followers which is just absurd. I thought it was crazy and RS actually said Drew paid to get followers and if I remember correctly, he had proof of it. What was funny was that after RS shared that story about him buying followers, he lost 20k within a day. And like I said, they were "egg profiles" which made it even more obvious.

YEP, that was the strong indicator for me that Nick wasn't F1, because TPTB never, ever throw the male F1 under the bus like they do the a female F1.. When we are sleuthing for the next F1 for the ETTE something to look out for and the chemistry edit is another tool to gauge F1 also..

Glad someone else enjoyed it; I found it fascinating how it identified the behavioral differences between men competing for one woman and women competing for one man which has inspired many "Mars / Venus" conversations between my wife and me over the years.

Not true imo. I'd put Ian & Ed at having "villain" edits. Ian for sure was because he & Meredith had crazy chemistry and they hid it as much as possible by slicing & dicing and commercials calling Ian a vagabond and making his brother seem creepy (he wasn't). With Ed they had the cringe worthy FS episode and I'm sure other things that I'm not remembering right now. That scene alone could have been edited far differently if they'd wanted to. Struck me as throwing Ed under the bus & Jillian ditto for choosing him.  

Speaking of SM follows. I'm only one person but I dropped Andi & Josh after the finale. I only followed Josh because he was the potential f1 but did like Andi earlier in the season. I have a feeling I'm not the only one who dropped her (especially). I don't have a clue if they bought followers nor do I really care.

Thanks for answering my question. I remember his sudden increase of followers and people were speculating it was because he wanted to be the next bachelor.
