Hi guys!

I just registered to join the forum but been lurking for a long time. Like some people here, despite the knowledge of RS' spoiler, I saw what I thought was a love story between Andi and Nick so I thought MF was that smart to play a ruse and it will be Nick who will be F1. Needless to say, like Nick, I was blindsided. If I felt blindsided even with the spoiler knowledge, I could not imagine how blindsided Nick was.

Anyway, everything has been said and posted but I just wanted to say I loved Nick from the M&G and love him more now. Never got carried away by Nick's bad editing one bit and I couldn't understand all the hate he got. I guess one cannot underestimate the naivete of the viewing public but I've seen the show since S1 and most of the Bach/ettes except maybe Ben's season (Never liked him) and Deana (I was indifferent towards her) so I kind of know the drill. But nothing could have prepared me at the ATFR. I was shocked that I thought I heard him wrong so replayed it with a louder sound. But, as most of you, I understood it right at that moment. Never thought he planned it. I felt so bad for him because he was shaking and on the verge of crying and Andi was stone cold.

I'm so glad I was not alone in liking Nick and found this forum that carried me throughout the season because there was so much negativity towards him out there. :cutesmile!:

:Woah-hoo: I've finally caught up!!!!!!!! I think i did pretty well too since I started the morning on page like 43 of the previous thread with 8 darn hours of work getting in my way!!!!!!!!! I don't know even where to start but um how bout NICK IS FRIGGIN HOT HOT HOT! OMG that man can dress and wear a suit like none other. Obviously other men are not as able in the suit wearing department....... I had absolutely ZERO issue with him talking about the sex. In fact when I was reading this forum and read that he said/asked that I was cheering him loudly. No matter how you look at it she is lying because she either didn't love him and led him on anyway or she really did love him but is lying now to save face with the almighty Murrays (barf). I'm glad Nick brought that little fantasy to a crashing halt. Yet the thing is, he did it, not out of vindictive intentions but for legitimate answers and closure which he deserved. He tried to do it with her in a more private situation but she said no. Too bad so sad for her now. ....While I love that he is getting alot of media and chances to talk more (and thus more chances to see him) I also hope the poor guy gets to go home soon. He has been through an emotional sh*tstorm for over 2 months now. My guess is after GMA he will get to go home and do normal life again.......I think Arie would be the best choice for Bachelor. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Nick on my TV every week but I don't trust this show/production/etc. I could see Nick wanting to cut like maybe all but 3 on the first night laugh out loud

Yes I have been wanting to get his take on it. When he was asked " did you get in trouble with prodcuers" and he was like "uh....yeah they weren't too happy with me......" giggling

he probably wanted to say, "did ya see the edit?!" I have no problem with what he said on the plane about Andi/Josh, especially after watching it all play out. Let's just say.......he didn't lie or exaggerate.

Yes! As a sales executive Nick is definitely involved in presentations during client meetings so he's got to be able to speak in front of a room full of people. During the season he only seemed to fumble when he felt vulnerable with Andi. However, he probably did have some help from a media/PR expert in honing his message BUT there really was not a lot of time for much training as F2 usually don't interview very much.

On the flip side, Andi and Josh probably had lots of training to ensure they spun the right tail but WHOOPS! Nick threw them a curve ball during ATFR, which is probably why Andi and Josh have not been quite as adept when the conversations goes in that direction. Good thing they are back in Atlanta ...

As far as Marquel's tweet goes ... do you think he pushed send on the tweet too soon? ... Or could it mean something like "don't say anything at all"???

Oh geez, here I go again reading into tweets, stop me now.

I think it may be a reference to the mime date - if you recall the date card was blank. Probably Marquel's way of saying shut your mouth.

True this Monica. And actually if Andi had been more empathetic (like Jillian was to Reid, for example) and just acknowledged falling in love with 2 guys but ultimately loving only one there would have been no story. If she had shown even the slightest bit of compassion for Nick, I might have been able to see her perspective and feel somewhat positive about her choice. But her hard and heartless stance is so distasteful.. such a turnoff. The upside for me (and obviously for Nick) is that I can more easily put the relationship into perspective and move on.

for the life of me, i couldnt comprehend even if Jodi make it in the real world and have offsprings to show that daddy n mommy met on a TV show , how can they say that its their legacy, while its been a mommy and uncle Nick's show from day 1?? laugh out loud

I know we're supposed to keep all posts positive, but I do need to say that my perspective of Andi's physical beauty took a sharp nose dive since AFTR. Where I previously thought she was very pretty, since Monday and based on her current persona and mannerisms, I seriously can only see her as very ugly.

Do we have any comments or feedback from Andi's parent's perspective? Andi's mom in particular was very taken with Nick at the MTP.

I imagine of course that outwardly they will come out in support of their daughter, but I do wonder if on some level they can understand Nick's perspective and/or see Andi's response as something other than positive.

I know my mother would give me h*ll for demonstrating such a total lack of empathy!!
