I love that! The anti-Josh, . It does take a real person to own up to things. She never once tried to deny or hide that sex did happen. It goes to show too that Josh's impact on her was so powerful, it was almost like a fairytale - too good to be true. She was so scared of the magnitude of her love for him that she ran in the opposite direction. I wish I were a fly on the wall in their fantasy suite though. Not the sex part, but the intimate conversations that they had. I wonder what about the fantasy suite made Josh know it was "game over". If he only heard her say I love you in the proposal, when what was it that was so convincing that he knew he'd end up with her.

I'd like to know too but also glad it is something private between them.

She told him exactly what ring she wanted and if she also shared what she did with Nick then I think it's a pretty good indication he was The One. At some point she had to stop being so stand-offish with him and "give" herself to him so that must have happened in the fs for them to cross the bridge into a fully trusting relationship. He did have some doubts because he thought she was about to break up with him at the frc though.

Even though his looks and personality may belie this, he is after all human and, of course, as humans, we all have our doubts and insecurities. Add to that he was having to place a lot of trust in Andi without having all of the significant pieces of information. That being said, I totally agree with you that right before she finally spilled the beans and admitted her love, Josh's facial expression read to me as a heck of a lot fear tinged with a little bit of anger. And even as they were celebrating and enveloped in their giddiness he apparently was still processing that as he remarked that it took her long enough to say it.

And you know what's awesome? Five years, who knows how many girls, and not a single one of them has come out of the woodwork to trash him. Seriously, has there ever been an F1 with LESS dirt being spilled about him? I think it's a real testament to what a truly good guy he is.

Honestly, there are probably a few stories he'd rather not get told but because the Murray name is royalty around Athens and so many people have his back, any girl is smart enough to know she would be trashed immediately.

That said, his family is more PR savvy than most and I'm sure he wouldn't have pursued the opportunity had there been any skeletons in the closet.

I think you can tell by their radio interviews on their home turf how confident he feels and it's basically his domain. I mean, like Eagle Eye pointed out already, the one interview was Josh Murray and then Andi tagging along because she's engaged to him. Hilarious! It's interesting also that while they were doing media in LA/NYC, they did the talking equally, but back home, it's Josh that takes the lead and Andi seems to love it. I'm guessing she doesn't really want him to bash Nick's skull in or punch the photogs but it seems just the fact that he could is what gets her all excited.

At the same time because his name/family are well known and he feels so confident in ATL and Athens, he can afford to come across as confident and assertive without veering off into cocky, trying to puff himself up. I love that he told Andi on their first 1:1 that of course he could play baseball again if he wanted to but now, he jokes about his "old body" and his concussions and blank stares. No need to impress the girl now, she's fully impressed. Adorbs!

I agree that in the last two months there has been a shifting, and re-calibration of the power differential between them with Josh assuming more of his own power. Both seem to be thriving with this evolution.

I agree. I also think a part of this might be that they like to jokingly give each other a hard time. In their HuffPost interview when they were talking about the ring, Andi said something like "[he] better love it, he picked it out," and Josh immediately followed up with "YOU better love it." Or on the radio when Andi was saying that she's a tiger and she'll never say dawgs on top when the dj was talking about all their support, and Josh assertively repeated "No, dawgs on top, baby" Looks like each has definitely found their hilarious match in the other.

Also in her interview with Jezel mag. she said she calls Josh about everything. So she wants and needs his opinion or approval. That is a big deal for Andi who was always her own woman and did everything on her own.

Alanna, that could be one of the reasons that MM said that Josh has met his match. She can keep up with Josh's playful bantering.

I think that Josh was rather long winded because he started off from the beginning telling about wanting to find that special girl. Then he went on to when he first met Andi and kind of continued in chronological order.

Since rewatching it I feel that Andi was doing the same. She started by saying lots of ups and downs, how when she first met Josh she was scared and went into how he said the next girl he tells he loves he will marry. She said that really meant a lot to her. And then she said after all I went through the truth is what I have felt all along and feel now is love.

So I really don't know why Josh got so worried looking at the end.

TPTB may have asked her to draw it out a little bit to make everyone guessing.

In an interview I have heard Andi say that toward the end Josh started pulling his hand away and she thought, this must sound terrible and went right into telling him she loved him.

Josh has said in an interview that when Andi finished being "coy" she finally told him she loved him and that's all he wanted to hear.

So I guess my feeling is that they both gave long winded speeches.

It might seem as though two strong personalities might clash but as I can attest to (after 30+ years of marriage) that's not necessarily the case. As long as the two make an effort to understand what's important to each of them, trust the other and communicate control can be easily shared and the "power struggle" becomes instead a "power couple" with a very strong bond between them. Watching and  listening to them in interviews hand off topics between them shows they've made a lot of progress in this re-calibration. BTW it never really ends - you're constantly fine tuning how you work together.
