I see no shame for Nick trying to get closure either. I think she handled the break-up so poorly that it left the door open for him to question. I think as of today he should have closure. He saw how cold she was, and that she is now engaged to another man. End of story. I haven't listened to any of his post-show interviews, but I think he's doing them to close the chapter and move on. Don't they all do them, or have to do them as part of the show?

Totally passive aggressive and lame! Andi has obviously moved on. He's insane if he thinks Andi would come back to him. I do agree with those that said Andi should have just told him how in love she is with Josh when she initially broke up with him instead of leaving the breakup open-ended but maybe she was trying not to hurt his feelings anymore than she already had..nevertheless, she didn't do that but NOW he has to see it and should just bow out gracefully.

If he got no closure and feels the continued need to add to the public humiliation .. Then maybe he needs some help......

That is the most valid point I've seen and really closes this discussion for me. I'm done with this season and ready to move on to the next romp with BIP.

Very good points. This entire controversy begins and ends with Andi. From her actions on JPG's season and her own, she has been a hypocrite. Andi learned how to become a strong woman at the expense of learning a little compassion and empathy for others. It just makes me wonder how she would handle a Judge who may have corrected her during a trial.

Andi was the one in control of her season as far as the guys are concerned. She was the one calling the shots. If she knew that someone (Nick) was in love with her, and she knew she wasn't choosing him in the end, then IMO it's wrong to sleep with him. If they both just considered it casual sex, then have at it - no biggie. She knew how Nick felt and kept his feelings going by sleeping with him. She was wrong IMO. I thought her break-up with him was lame, and left the door open. She should have said she cared for Nick, but fell in love with Josh and was choosing him. Nick maybe should have had a little more restraint on the live AFR, but I think it slipped out and was not a premeditated action to shame her. However, as Stuckinsc said above, Andi outed Claire and did the same thing. How soon she forgets.

I'm for the most part trying to stay out of this whole conversation, but just wanted to chime in that I don't think the first person she wanted to tell she had fallen in love with Josh was Nick. I would think she would want to tell Josh before Nick. Just a guess. And I would also guess TPTB would want it that way too.

I have mentioned this a few times and I do think the producers tell the lead, as payback for letting the F2 go early, that she isn't allowed to tell him that she loves the other guy. Emily didn't either. It then of course makes it harder to give the poor guy "closure", but that said, Andi really did a poor job of giving a compassionate sendoff. But THAT said, I also think that Nick would have been a very difficult person to appease at that point, as he probably would have wanted to go into a detailed and lengthy analysis over what she was doing/feeling and why. Remember he mentioned in the plane video that he chose not to argue with her. I suspect that was in large part because Andi didn't really leave things open for discussion with the way she behaved towards him. Had she been willing to have a real discussion (or in his case, debate) with him about it at the time, she might have avoided what came later, but knowing she was getting engaged in a few hours, probably selfishly didn't want to "ruin" her big day.

I don't really fault Nick for taking advantage of the media attention he is getting now, poor guy has taken a lot of abuse for months, and I'm sure the producers love the publicity. If he's still out there promoting his "broken heart" next week, I'll reevaluate my opinion.

I wish someone close to him could tell him enough is enough.  I read he did GMA today?  You can't tell me he is not trying to be vindictive.  I know it takes two to tango, but if he got his closure why the need for all the media?  I don't know what he is saying, but anything other than an apology is unacceptable to me.

First I want to make it clear he does not need to apologize for how he feels or that he was looking for closure. IMO, he should apologize for "going there" during the ATFR. You could see he was thinking and looking for words so I cannot believe this was not a calculated move on his part. Everyone speaks to his intelligence so why did he chose this moment to be stupid. Some think she was cold, but I prefer the word blunt. This guy had made numerous attempts to contact her (that ALL would have been with camera) over the last 2 1/2 months so she decide to be direct and not beat around the bush. People may no like that, but it still didn't deserve the response Nick provided. Again, this is my opinion and no one needs to agree with me. I just wanted to share my opinion.

Whether you like what Nick has to say or not, remember he is under contract to do as many interviews as TPTB wants him to. He especially because of a video that was a violation of his privacy has an extra $5 million threat to comply with whatever TPTB may want. MF and TPTB love when people talk about his show, I am sure that Nick if even he wanted to would not be aloud to skip any interview requests unless TPTB allowed it.
