I can't admit total defeat - the love story was between her and Nick, she just chose what she was comfortable with.

Yeah sorry, I can't buy that anymore with what I saw tonight. Oh don't get me wrong, I believe she went with what she knew and made up her mind to do so weeks before the FRC. And I certainly believe Nick fell in love but with how cold, unfeeling and almost hateful Andi came across with Nick tonight, I firmly believe that everything that happened with her was her playing her Bachelorette role to the tee.

She needed someone to go to the end who would be truly crushed and she quickly realized that Nick was someone who was cautious and skeptical because when he fell, he fell hard. And so she worked him well to get him to that place where he not only believed she was madly in love with him but that his being her pick was a foregone conclusion. I will admit one thing, she was definitely physically attracted to him which is why she slept with him. It was nothing more than that to her - he's hot, she was attracted to him, they were both willing and fine. But she knew she had no intention of picking him and knew so weeks before.

A lot of people on SM sympathizing with Nick, even Josh fans.  I would be shocked if he wasn't the next Bachelor, they aren't setting up all this heartbreak for nothing.

I don't think he could be the bachelor and play along with a final 4 situation. I'd love to believe that TPTB just forced him to do all that to get out of a law suit, but that was raw emotion. He is being swarmed by girls on twitter. I think he should just take his time healing and date in private.

Yes I agree but I still want him to post pictures on SM. Btw, is anyone interested in the pre show spoilers from chloep, especially the part about Nick? If so,I can bring it over from the other thread if it's ok with chloep?

when your entire relationship is on camera, don't expect people to all of a sudden act completely fake during tough moments during breakups

   Nicholas Viall stayed true in what I felt was the best ATFR segment EVER!  
Someone upthread mentioned that the "wild card" has always been Andi.  Absolutely.  Nick carried the love story solo the entire way and it was fresh, intelligent, and better than most novels.  The sheer magnitude of his personality carried the entire season.  AND in the end he gave Andi exactly what she said she liked most, "a mind game" which she wasn't able to counter.  Nick's final appearance was "time" to the max and right on point.  He played the "player" (she who will not be named again) as was fitting.

Looking forward to his Elle mag interview.  I also noticed the woman who has a talk show on PBS Chicago (she posted a pic with him awhile back) tweeted about him tonight so fingers crossed.  Would love to hear from him through "real" media.

JMO but I will never be convinced she didn't have very strong feelings for Nick. Andi did some acting this season for sure but I do not believe for one second the acting is with her feelings for Nick. She chickened out and took the comfortable road and is now trying to save face with her fiance/public by saying "oh I was never in love with him anyway......." That is why whether producer induced or not I am not at all upset that Nick stuck it to her with the making love comment/question. Andi didn't like that Nick didn't fawn all over her and make her feel like "poor Andi" when she dumped him like some of the other guys did. She had the nerve to get mad because he got hurt/upset at her. I wonder if part of her response too was in response to the blogs CH did insinuating her picking Josh was not pulling the trigger. Again saving face. Anyway enough of her. 

On a lighter note................Nick is friggin gorgeous.

I started out a big Marcus fan this season but then he started in on the whole Nick thing and he is definitely a hypocrite. I am so glad Nick has Nick S. and JJ at the very least for support. (another bullied one by the "pack") for support. I'm curious/nervous to see what Sharleen's take is on all of it. She herself saw the connection with Andi/Nick. Did someone say her and Andi aren't as close as before? I hope she doesn't turn on Nick. Maybe I am being unfair to wonder that as Sharleen as always come off as reasonable and fair but maybe it is just this show now has me so paranoid and uncertain.

That's the way I am seeing it too.
I am not biased since until the finale I hadn't picked a team, but I truly believe she picked the easy way out. Near home, with her family around and the guy she was sure was going to propose. There were too many risks with Nick, and absolutely wanted to get engaged and wear the $$$ ring.
Safe choice.
Had she really picked Josh since day 1, she wouldn't have slept with Nick. Totally trying to save the face now. Good luck with that one, though....
