I can't admit total defeat - the love story was between her and Nick, she just chose what she was comfortable with.  

you know what i actually don't think there was a true love story in the "bare your soul/true intimacy/intensity sense" this season because andi had the potential for that with nick and she held herself back whether for fear or cos she's not matured in relationships enough to understand the profound value of that OR she was stubbornly hung up on josh who she had met before the season began... andi was cold, calculated and strategic with this show and the depth that nick's relationship with her offered...was almost a surprising jolt....
I don't think she had fallen in LOVE with any guy cos she was surely and steadfastly in control of her emotions the whole time to be able to truly let go...when nick asked if she'd been heartbroken to truly risk it all...he went straight to the heart of things...she had not and she likely still hasn't...I don't want to judge any kind of connection as stronger than another but andi just wasn't mature to be able to deal with the kind that nick offered...hopefully she is more than the facade she's showing with josh and is able to truly connect and it is her perogative to select that which will truly make her happy

agreed. like Marcus doesn't have to love him but he called him out for just being there to be on tv. are u kidding? that man was heart broken! and Marcus IMO is a hypocrite cause he went straight onto BIP got engaged after 3 weeks and is doing media appearances. pot meet kettle!!

This Marcus guy keeps going down the ladder... He should shut his mouth now.
What do you expect anyway from a guy claiming he's ready to propose, then going onto BIP to propose to another one... Really ?

I think Nick dodged a bullet watching the ATFR and how Andi acted toward him, not what I would expect. I loved what he said to her though.

They had Nick out on ATFR for almost 40 minutes right?!!!!!!!! He was probably hoping for just like 5 minutes and then probably wanted to head back to the hotel pool/bar. I sure need a drink or 10 after this cluster *you know what* season......... Kudos for him for hanging in there. Again I know a few think the sex question could have been left out but really I think she fully had it coming and it is totally valid since she was sitting there just dismissing any type of feelings for him whatsoever....... she had the chance to talk privately to him earlier and then he could have just stayed in Chicago and relaxed while she and Josh had a full hour of ATFR to gloat. Instead as with the season it became the Nick hour .

She also said that she didn't completely make up her mind until the morning of the proposal because she over-analyzed everything.

... And she said on "After The Final Rose" that she knew from the beginning that it was Josh. Make up your mind Andi.

I've never been a Nick Fan, and always thought Andi was great but tonight changed my mind on some things.

The guys were wrong... Nick actually was there for the right reasons, and obviously, Nick really loved Andi with his whole heart.

Nick needed to get closure for himself, so he too could move on. That's human. He tried multiple times to "privately" ask Andi the questions that he needed to, but Andi refused to speak with him. Tonight, right from the start, Andi acted cold towards Nick. Her coldness didn't begin after he asked the big question. At first it seemed he was so nervous that he wasn't even asking her what he "needed" to. Bet Nick could feel Andi's dismissive and uncaring coldness towards him, and knew he'd never have the chance again to ask her what his heart really needed to know. At that point, IMHO, I think he knew it didn't really matter if he asked her why she slept with him if she didn't love him. Their intimate night meant so much to him, he needed to finally be able to wrap his head around why she would do this.

Watched some Bachelorette segments on Hulu tonight, and can definitely see why Nick believed with his whole heart that Andi loved him. After what was witnessed tonight on "After The Final Rose", I personally don't think as highly of Andi, and think a lot more of Nick's character. Certainly hope Andi treats Josh with more human kindness than she's treated Nick with.

1) All I have to say is that my gut feeling from the beginning was that this was all a setup, since I saw the tweets from MommaMurray and Hy before filming started (did you see him lie about Josh tonight?).

2) I have never dislike a Bachelorette with the intensity that I dislike Meandi right now. Not because my favorite wasn't F1, that has happened many times before to me, but because I have never seen a more coldhearted dismissal of someone she went out of her way to make a believer to the point of having sex with him knowing how in love he was with her. She showed a thousand times more compassion in her dismissal of Chris. With Nick she just wanted to get it over with fast.

3)My wish is for Nick to be as lucky as Chris Lambton in finding the love of his life.

4) I really don't care if Meandi and Josh get marry or not. Im assuming they will because of the whole dawgnation entity they have in common, plus her future brother in law is a famous QB now. Doesn't matter to me either way. She is too coldhearted for me to care.

JMO but I will never be convinced she didn't have very strong feelings for Nick. Andi did some acting this season for sure but I do not believe for one second the acting is with her feelings for Nick. She chickened out and took the comfortable road and is now trying to save face with her fiance/public by saying "oh I was never in love with him anyway......." That is why whether producer induced or not I am not at all upset that Nick stuck it to her with the making love comment/question. Andi didn't like that Nick didn't fawn all over her and make her feel like "poor Andi" when she dumped him like some of the other guys did. She had the nerve to get mad because he got hurt/upset at her. I wonder if part of her response too was in response to the blogs CH did insinuating her picking Josh was not pulling the trigger. Again saving face. Anyway enough of her. 

On a lighter note................Nick is friggin gorgeous.

Hey Soul Sister - Nick is gorgeous. He is so REAL - ironically in a very not real situation. I can tell you that I was as fooled as he was, no wonder he is heartbroken. But, after seeing her at ATFR I hope he realizes that she isn't who he thought she was, so much of the "connection" must be fantasy, these amazing epic dates and Andi in full hollywood style make up and clothing, and the professions of "connection/passion" - he has to know that isn't all real, he has yet to discover the real her, so maybe he isn't missing what he lost, but the idea of what he lost.
