AFAIK yes. Some Twitter accounts require the account holder's approval before you can follow them and if an account is "set" for this option, then they have to approve all requests before others can follow them. Nick's account is not set with this option however - anyone can just click the "Follow" button and follow Nick and Nick doesn't have to approve the follow. He gets a notification when someone follows him but with 29,000 or so followers I doubt he reads all the notifications. Similarly, the AL account does not require approval to follow - just click the Follow button. With 15 followers AL may or may not read notifications but if he does, it would be easier for him to keep up than for Nick.

I tested this with my account and followed both Nick and AL - no problem. For the record I then clicked the Unfollow button for the AL account.

Also, on Twitter you can only send a DM to someone who is following you; you can't send a DM to someone you follow but who doesn't follow you back. Again - I tested this to verify that's how it works.

I don't know why Nick followed this guy. Was it an accident? Was it a moment of bitterness? Was he being an idiot?

I really don't care. Just like I wish he had never asked Andi "the" question, I wish he would unfollow the guy, because the guy is a real jerk. But I think many are over exaggerating this as well. From the one time I went to this guys twitter feed yesterday, I saw two posts about Josh and Andi, the vile one with the talk of the Houston Texans Ex and the one with Nick's face over Josh's. In the whole stream they were only two. They guy isn't obsessed with Josh and Andi, he saw some random post that set his hateful little heart off on them for that moment, then his attention was drawn onto other people he hates in Atlanta. I wouldn't call this guy obsessed with anyone. I would call him a crazy, hateful idiot overall.

I confess, I thought the Nick pic over Josh was funny. I saw stuff like that with Arie with Jef and Emily too. To me it is silly. Who cares? It doesn't effect the happy couple at all and by us discussing it so much we are actually giving this creepy guy more publicity than he deserves. I know I never would have known about him or gone to his twitter page if not for you all discussing it. So congrats, you helped him spread his hate, but directing me to him.

I know people are still mad, I get it. But I hope soon that it can all be let go. To me our attention to this matter just increased an something uncomfortable to Josh and Andi, and truly doesn't hurt Nick all that much. He may have lost a couple of fans, but most of us haven't changed our opinions one way or another.

I don't mean to sound like I am putting anyone down, I just don't think that continuing to get upset and rant against Nick actually helps Josh and Andi, to me it just detracts from them.

I know I have tried to post things for discussion in the Josh and Andi discussion thread (sorry not going to their fan thread, I have no wish to slip and post anything that might upset anyone there) and no one has responded for two days.

Why not focus on the couple instead of Nick? I think in the long run that would serve the happy couple better. Just my opinion.

Unfortunately for those who wish it would stop, I think the "messiness" of the ending guaranteed that interest in debating Nick's actions/feelings wasn't going to abate for a while.

What I find the most interesting and informative about all this is how much it proved that this great perceived "match" and compatibility between Andi and Nick was largely a show created illusion. I don't think that anybody now believes that this couple would have made it long term in the real world even if Josh had never been cast and she had picked Nick (which I strongly suspect she would have). Maybe it sheds some light on why some of these past seemingly "perfect couples" have fallen apart so quickly once they saw the light of day.

You're missing a few. He deleted at least two. Probably because those were extremely vile and quite a few people (maybe from here?) responded to his posts. In my opinion, nothing is funny about them and neither is the picture with Nick's face cropped in. Obviously the creep has some time on his hands and is cutting and pasting pictures. It's creepy and gross. Plain and simple.

People have the right to post whatever they want. You can easily like Andi and Josh and enjoy reading and writing posts on their thread, but you can also easily post something to Nick's thread. No one is posting these comments in his fan thread. It's in the discussion thread. It has nothing to do with being mad about what Nick did or didn't do at the ATFR. It's as simple as Nick is following someone on Twitter that has posted disgusting and creepy things about the two people that Nick is or was obviously upset with. He has unfollowed and followed a few people since he started following this creep and he still is following him.

I haven't seen one post here that has stated Nick is a horrible, awful guy. People are just posting their opinions (including Nick fans) that it's weird he follows this person on Twitter, because it most certainly is.

Does anyone else find it odd that Nick chose a twitter banner photo wearing the same shirt as in the plane videos?  No one can forget that highly patterned shirt if they've seen them.  One video has over 335K views;  the other nearly 300K.  I find it strange that he would want to continue bringing any attention to an act that violated his contract.

Man, what a disaster that would have been. Seriously, worse than any couple in recent history and right up with well-fitting couple gems like Jen and Jerry. Both of their brains would be fried from all the analyzing and fingers falling over from the 1,000 word treatises they'd be typing up on their relationship within days.

He wore the shirt over the weekend to Lola in Chicago. The pic in question is him with his friends who he thanked for the weekend and such. I don't even associate that shirt with the video, I just like the shirt.

Nick has been shown to wear clothing multiple times, I like that about him.

I guess for me if you don't like someone I do find it odd that people are so interested in what those people do. But that is each person's individual right. I chose to ignore the people I don't like, if others want to give their time and attention to people they don't like that is okay for them.

While individual thoughts or posts may not be bashing or hating, when all someone ever has to post on someone is negative after a while the multitude of posts can seem like bashing.
