Funny you should mention that because I was reviewing what was written in the US Weekly article last night. It's common for the show to release some "inside information" at the end of the season to a select few tabloids so that they can write articles to highlight the drama that will unfold at the end of the season; anticipation of impending drama gets viewers to tune in to see it. If a tabloid would be consistently way off base they would lose readers and thus usefulness to the show so the show will make sure they are mostly right by giving them inside information. This season I believe the show picked US Weekly to supply information to for an article.

That article specifically said:

"When Dorfman heard her also-ran wanted to meet up she made it very clear that she didn't want to see him"
...

Rebuffed for the second time, he transformed from heart-broken dumpee to bitter ex. "It's been incredibly hard for him. He really thought she was going to pick him" says the insider. "He's almost gone through the stages of grief: believing that she was going to come to her senses then, and now just feeling really angry and upset."

The first statement was I believe confirmed after the finale aired with Andi taking the position that they would meet on the ATFR anyway. And (of course) had they actually met beforehand it would have been filmed (too good to pass up) and would have been aired anyway; a private / off camera meeting was impossible.

Parts of the second statement are, IMHO, very plausible. It's consistent with the plane video (alluding to a Mesnick potential) and also what that same article said about a change of heart and decision similar to what (appeared to have) happened on Jason's season.

Leaving us only to speculate on the "bitter ex" comment and the "just feeling really angry and upset" comment as to whether this article was accurate about that or not. If accurate, then Nick was a bitter ex, angry and hurt before he ever set foot on the ATFR stage (because this article was in print and on newsstands and first commented on here on July 18; well before the live ATFR aired).

To some I suppose this doesn't make any difference and to others it might be a significant difference.

I am curious and sorry but I am going OT. But it seems to be fact that Nick tried to contact Andi post filming, but then Ali said that Andi called and said Nick never tried to contact her. So which is true?

None that I have heard. Maybe he finds caustic humor funny. I think the guy sounds like a lunatic, but then again, he isn't the first person on SM who I think sounds like a lunatic. People like him are part of why I pause to go on any social media, it took me a longtime to even join facebook and then I did it just to keep up with my 20th HS reunion.

^^ I thought Ali said that he never tried to contact her in person except the once with cameras. I could be wrong though. So he cud have tried to contact just not in person? The MTA contact smelled so much like TPTB induced drama.

The funniest thing about all of this, is that the people who went on BiP all probably wanted us to be talking about them today. Instead we are mostly focused on Nick and 3 tweets he sent.

I see in the publicity game Nick wins. I have said this before, you want someone and their opinion to go away, ignore them. The less you discuss them the more irrelevant they become.

I may have heard wrong. I thought Ali said Andi called her and said that Nick never tried to contact her and that he was making it up. Maybe I am wrong.

I have an old copy but AFAIK this is either the same or very similar to the current contract (except this contract is for The Bachelor):

B. Limitation on Contact with Other Participants:

Except as otherwise requested by Producer, from the date that I cease participation in principal photography on the regular Series episodes (i.e. the episodes taping prior to the date that the Bachelor selects his final Bachelorette), through the initial airing of the final episode of the Series, I shall not have any contact with any of the Bachelorettes, past or present, or with any Bachelor, past or present.

So if Nick had attempted to contact Andi directly or if Andi had engaged in any contact with Nick, either or both of them would have breached their contract. All of this had to go through the producers and been a producer request. Ali is probably right - there was no direct requests for contact but there probably were requests through the producers. I think the MTA contact was simply how the producers decided to present what was going on. For drama - of course.

I am sorry, I thought I answered, I don't care, if someone who Andi or Josh follows posts something negative about Nick, I won't care. Kelly Travis is extremely negative, not to the extent of this guy, but she is close, since in Kelly's case Andi is a close friend as well, make your own opinion.

I think the guy who Nick is following is a POS. But he is pretty hateful overall and a very small amount is directed at Josh and Andi.

So I guess, I don't expect any Jodi or Andi fans to give up on her because of Kelly or anyone else's tweets that she or they follow, so I hope it is okay if this follow by Nick is acknowledged by me, but I still choose to be a Nick fan.
