Lol my thoughts exactly. I do think there is a line that can be crossed in terms of some peoples comments on twitter. I don't think Nicks comments came close to crossing that line. If Nick had made some really bad or derogatory comments then I would agree with Marcus. But sorry there was nothing worth getting upset about IMO.

I do not like that Nick is following that person on twitter with the horrible tweets. But I am going to refrain all judgement and type cast Nick or Marcus or Jpsh or Andi for that manner for about six months post show that is when their true colours shine through.

In terms of support, Brian did have a quote post show supporting Nicks comment at the ATFR even though he thought there was a better place for it he said it was a valid question and mentioned he was closer to Nick than Josh post show. I have not heard anything from Chris but he hung out with Nick after the final rose so I would say that and the visit in Chicago he doesn't have any issues with Nick.

By that ... we don't need to go far in the history to recall Marcus talking about Nick.
Let's see:
episode 2 - "questioning" whether Nick is showing his true colors or just going along his plan so that he can come far and hides the true motive for being there [The Bette],
episode 5 - "talking" about Nick's D-move for going after Andi to console her [before anyone else could],
episode 6 - "expressing his frustration" over Nick's "arrogant" move for taking Andi away right at the beginning of cocktail part before RC (as if Andi was taken hostage and didn't go along on her own will),
episode 7 - "stating his opinion" that Nick is a douchebag, who shouldn't be trusted, that he will walk away if he comes to F2 and that Nick is there [TB] only for himself, for some other reasons.

in all of those episodes Nick hasn't said a word about Marcus.

So maybe, just maybe ... it's time. So if all the above was just TALK ... then I don't see Nick doing any bashing.

Beside, I don't see Nick going to another reality show and going after a girl [on TV] only few weeks after stating to have his heart broken, because he felt that she [Andi] is his soulmate.

Now talking about other's motive, own agenda, true colors and right reasons.

And before anyone jumps on board to let me see Marcus' point of view, let me be clear, that despite it all, I still like Marcus, I do find him a nice guy, with a lot to offer, a very sensible guy who knows how to behave ... but just like Nick ... is no angel.

Me too. I know that I'm very cynical and sarcastic and ironic when I write, sometimes all at once, so I never know "how it will lay in someone's ear". And I do feel sorry if someone is hurt by my writing, but it usually isn't anything personal against anyone here, just my loud [public] thinking thrown out there to chew or ponder.

Exactly! Like ironcat noted there is no such thing as all good or all bad (unless we are speaking about Mother Teresa or Hitler. None of these people are perfect just like we are not perfect either. I just think some of the judging going on here is getting a tad nitpicky and looking for reasons to paint some people as villains based on our personal like or dislike of them (and that goes for fans of both parties).

Doc I was trying to err on the side of magnanimousity (to invent a word) when I posted that as I am often somewhat critical of Nick's actions. Which leaves my other alternative as the more plausible one to me.

Somewhat surprisingly the lead never gets to see parts of the show (ITM's for example) that they didn't see during filming, so the final airing is the first time they get to see those parts, and it does change their views in many cases. I suspect that Andi saw this polarization unfold as she watched the show in addition to everything that's happened on the ATFR and everything that's followed that. Nick is, to say the least, a polarizing character - not only as he was edited during the season but in how he's carried himself over the past week or so. Perhaps Andi's comment to the effect that she is not so attracted to guys that other guys don't like was left in the edit for a good reason.

Well, I did not watch Juan Pablo's season but was Nikki unpopular with the other girls in the house? Now, she is apparently one of Andi's BFF along with Kelly who I find extremely polarizing with her nasty tweets so I don't know how much of a judge Andi is.. Plus, the edit do not always do Andi any big favors either. Like someone said, best that they did not end up together - that one would one ugly breakup.

Well ... I do agree that Nick is very polarizing person ... because he isn't affraid to speak his mind and do what pleases him.

But that doesn't mean that he doesn't have friends and that guys in general don't like him.
Actually there are quite a lot of men who find Nick's attitude completely justified ...
and he does have a nice group of friends before ever coming on the show
and even more friends post show.

So he only didn't get along with some people ON THE SHOW ... because of the show's nature [as the race for the girl ... since i can't find more appropriate term].
With some of those people he made amends ... and they are friends now, with some just simple acquaintances ... and with some he will never be friends with or hang out with ... because he doesn't need to. And I'm sure they aren't bothered by that either.

So, I think he is liked enough ... I would question him more if he would be loved by everyone, because usually that is said for those who tend to please all around or a saint. And I think we all agree Nick is no saint.

I agree, he is hurt and the SM backlash he received all season and the cold reception from Andi he received at ATFR certainly has not helped him to move on. Yes, that guy's tweets are gross, but so is being called a stalker with a pedophile stare.

isittrue you know I love Nick. I do not love the 33 yr old Nick that would follow that weird SM stalker. Unfollow him Nick. Get it together!
