Good point re the bold. How would have Marcus known that so early on??? Maybe because of this?

I feel like we are expressing our anger at the actors in a play rather than the Playwrite who scripted it.

Genuinely surprised that we're actually discussing whether or not Nick revealing to millions of people that he and Andi had sex, on live TV, with her fiancé backstage no less, is shameful.  

IMO Andi shouldn't have had sex with Nick if she knew she was picking Josh.

IMO Nick was without a doubt out of line with his little primetime slip.

I don't know, is it any more shameful than Chris Harrison revealing to the world how many people Marcus has slept with, without his permission? Is it any more shameful than every single media source asking Catherine about her (lack of) sex life, even though she never brought it up?

There was no meeting. from what i ounderstand jos saw andi across the room and did not introduce himself. andi did not see him. it was a crowded place.

See that's the thing---we all either conveniently forget or get sensitized to the fact this entire show is shameful and shameless. Every single season. SO did it jump the shark this season? That's yet to be determined as ratings tanked and they are moving on to future seasons as we speak.
Cameramen took crotch shots of Shayne--and aired then! That same season Chelsea's FR gown was designed for continual wardrobe malfunctions and she tried to muster as much dignity as possible during her rejection to modestly hold the gown together.
We could enumerate example after example.
IDK---what we are watching is not a love story, not IMO--it's rubbernecking at it's worst.

Honestly, I think that had more to do with the fact that most people were spoiled about the ending and their feelings about the lead, because I believe that the rest of the season had gotten relatively low ratings, as well. I was expecting a really lame finale, and I think most people were too. If the ATFR had been pre-recorded and they played a snippet of someone saying "if you weren't in love with me, why did you make love with me" in the promos, I bet anything that the ratings would have been higher. Unfortunately, most people don't tune in for the love; they tune in for the drama and the controversial.

I guess the main problem I have is that there's just so much sexism involved. If people had been this outraged when Courtney revealed that Ben had sex with Nikki and Ashley (presumably, without his consent) or when Chris Harrison revealed that Marcus had sex with >20 women, I would get it. But, most of people outraged about the Nick statement couldn't care less about those violations of privacy.

Just saw the clip of Nick on Entertainment Tonight. He must be getting over the heartbreak pretty quickly! No stammering, no shaking, totally smiley and fun as he slut shames Andi. Glad to see that he's doing okay and hope he parlays this into whatever it is he's after because, frankly, I can't figure him out or what the heck his motives are.

You can't explain away his 180 with "awkwardness" cuz he sure doesn't look awkward on the couch with the ET host.

Instead, they believe Nick took it really hard and Molly actually said, "stalkerish", because he followed Andi to Mexico. At first, they mentioned the only way Nick would know about Andi being in Mexico was from producers, but then decided, no, because production would want to film the two talking to each other; Thus, Nick had to have learned about the Mexico trip from Andi's twitter.

Jason and Molly talked about how fantasy date sex is always alluded to, but no one has actually said it and Nick was a jerk to have gone there. Although Jason and Molly are not at all shy about pointing at production, they didn't and point directly at Nick.

How would Nick know which resort Andi was staying at let alone the fact that she was in Mexico without the help of production. Just by a pic of a can of Spanish Off that she tweeted? Maybe there was more to their conversation that I'm not aware of.

Just because other's have alluded to what went on the the FS, but didn't say it, doesn't mean that Nick didn't have the right to say it. IMO he had every right to ask her why did we have the intimacy of an engaged couple, especially after repeatedly telling her how he felt and how important the whole situation was. Same goes if the lead was a male.

And back to the negativity tweets re JPG and Nikki, which is what started this conversation, at the time I was going to post I wouldn't be surprised if Andi eventually starts tweeting negative comments, but didn't want to take over the JPG thread, sure enough she has started.

There will be posters who despise Nick for what he did, and others who give him thumbs up. We have read both sides, for and against. I'm intrigued by all the responses, and everyone's take on it.

Nick is getting a lot of media attention, he is now more relaxed and able to talk about it in a more composed manner.  Josh is over the moon he is engaged. I am happy with both of those results.

Thanks GA, I just want to clarify that Nick did not go to Mexico since this is being stated as a fact in some threads. According to Chris Harrison's EW blog, Nick contacted Chris while Andi was in Mexico and that was the reason why Andi could not chat with Nick at that point in time.
