I am just confused by the timing of all this potential storyboard shooting - why now??? The show is still on air and Nick is still in the F3. That's what I am still trying to figure out. Have RS and the plane video and SM taken all the suspense out of this show? Really like Nick but don't want him to do the show.

I personally can't truly assess anyone's intellect level based upon what the edit of this show has shown for each guy. Andi had every opportunity to choose her guy from all appearances. All F4 guys were completely in and would have proposed from what we have seen. If we are to believe what L&S mag says, she is very happy. Unless that changes, I don't think she will always wonder what might have been.

Well, as Grace suggested up thread, Nick could be a candidate for Bachelor and would need to pass approval by ABC. That might mean creating his Primetime ready back story, etc. for the top ABC brass approval.

I can see Fleiss wanting Nick because of how much he immersed himself in process.

BUT... Nick is already crying over the depth of feelings that he has for Andi. How would they have him credibly transition from 1 "soul mate" great love to another? And why would they leave in line with guys saying on ep before htd that Nick would walk at F2 so he could be next Bachelor if he is indeed a candidate for next bachelor? Wtf?!

I just don't know what to think!! It's the darn magic of the Bachelor bubble ... what will Fleiss pull out of his hat next?

Re the bold, those two statements are what I am having the most problem with as well.. why'd they cast doubt upon his intentions and then cast him as the next Bachelor. Plus, why show him stating he loves Andi like he never has loved before and then show him so ready to jump to Bachelor - sounds too much like a rebound. My hope that this footage is for something else related to the show and not for the next Bachelor slot. As much I can see them using skeptic turned into believer reason, I personally still can't past the other things that you pointed out either.

So maybe they are exploring other possibilities for Bachelor.  I don't know what else it could be.  People say "foiler" like in Des's season, but there was no video of Chris.  I don't think it is possible Nick is F1 and they are trying to "foil" us.  Only other possibility to me would be something to show at MTA so they can discuss Nick and his "arrogancy" without having him there. Like a package with Nick's reaction to the things the guys said about him and that way it could be discussed at MTA.

I agree with this as being a possibility too. I can't buy into the foiler theory and I think it is too early to be shooting bachelor footage so your theory makes sense to me.

They did it to Des crying over Brooks and in tv time a week later she was engaged to Chris.
Go figure. 
It's their problem, not ours.  

I had posted this earlier: They did not show intro's of the guys this season, due to Eric.  So--during the end of the MTN they do a recap of the F2 and their journey. They might have needed Nick film, but certainly they could have pieced together something salvageable from the footage of him during HTD etc. 
So the question remains: why was a producer in Milwaukee with Nick and filming him?
