I can't get on the Nick as the next Bachelor train.  First and foremost because I believe he's with Andi   As much as I love Nick, I just don't think he is Bachelor material and I don't believe he would want to do it anyhow.

My take....filming yesterday was for post show activities....I wonder what it could be????   

Getting fans excited for 2014 Nick & Andi wedding ... esp since rumor has it that Chres wedding talks on hold.

Think about it ... Courtney & Vienna were two hated F1. Tptb knew that that neither would ever make it to altar so no need to redeem.

Now Nick is far, far more likeable than either of those two ladies but for some crazy reason, more fans have issues with him than are fans. If Nick is f2 and not next Bachelor candidate, CH would not be trying to get fans to like him more. But if Nick is f1 with wedding in works, CH and ABC would want fans happy with him being f1.

If Nick is f2, they could pick from other viable candidates than trying any sort of campaign to turn around Nick's image with majority of viewers. If Nick is possible Bachelor lead, we would not have gotten quote so much anti nick talk with guys in Brussels with every guy in house against him.

And, I have not been in Chris thread but I have hard time believing that TPTB didn't know about any arrests esp when so friggin easy to find out.

Josh the golden boy with mom leading fan club is perfect candidate for Bachelor.

Don't you guys find it funny that earlier on, when we first heard filming crew was following Nick we though it was most plausible from a local station , then BOOM! Somebody sent RS a picture of Nick and a producer from the Bachelorette? Didnt RS say earlier TPTB had no interest in Nick as the next lead? CMIIW. Now RS said whatever the reason is, it has nothing to do with the end of the show. Did he check with his source(s)?
I don't believe Nick could refuse to show up at ATFR, it's too good for TPTB to not have him.
Can't TPTB fly Nick to LA to film extra footage?
Was the producer there to fly Nick to LA for, dare I say....a SH visit?

Was hoping to see Josh as the next Bachelor, but TPTB did a full court press for Chris S. as Bachelor during the HTDs. SM went crazy for Chris S. this week! Still have my fingers crossed for Josh to be in the running, but don't think even Momma Murray's SM craziness can beat out the appeal of the millionaire farmer

I don't think the F2(If that is what Nick is) would have a choice on whether to attend the ATFR live show.  I think it would be in his contract to do so.  He is either the next Bachelor, or F1, IMO.

Remember Lindsay did not show up to AFTR with Ben and Clare refused to talk with JP. So its not impossible but i do see him wanting that closure.

Actually Lindzi was at the AFTR, I don't remember if CH talked to her or not but they chose to skip her with Ben because the awesome drama with Ben and Courtney it wasn't needed.

mvmom, you have made so many good observations today.   CH backing Nick all season is a big question mark for me too. You got me to thinking about it again today. Where is that tweet from momma murray that said something like.. "no need to cut the cord, join us"? I can't find it and wondered if it was deleted. That tweet stood out to me a little this week. Would she tell Andi that via a tweet or is it more of a statement to future girlfriends? Maybe she just has no boundaries.   For an established couple, it would be 100% up to them on how involved they are with their families.

They didn't have an intro video for Nick (that we've seen) so maybe they filmed a little something for when they re-cap Andi's 2 choices at the MTA. I don't think they recap every season though. I remember it for Lindsay and Cat, but not Nikki and Clare. That's a possibility, but I like your version better mvmom. We talked about the wedding the other day, but I think that could apply to Josh or Nick.

I think TPTB could turn Nick's edit around in one episode if they wanted to. I already see it changing. The average viewer seems to mostly agree with the edit.

I'll have to go over to the Chris thread to read about this arrest record stuff. Don't they check that out before they book them for the first show?
Someone mentioned this all being a Jimmy Kimmel spoof (the plane video) That is my dream outcome.  :eyesigh: Next to that, I'd take Nick as TB. It seems a little soon for them to film for the TB though. If Nick is the F2, wouldn't they give him time (to appear to be healing from his rejection) and wait until say the finale of BIP?

^^ He posted a picture with his sister Bella yesterday in the same clothes, I am thinking Milwaulkee as she might be involved somehow   in a conversation or something, as she was the "star" on Monday.

Will be interesting to see if Nick is at the MTA taping this weekend similar to Courtney during Ben's season.   I could see TPTB wanting him there since he and Andrew where the only drama this season. Perhaps they can show Nick hug it out with all the boys. Could help with his redemption/edit.
