ITA. I think josh had a very, very real chance of being anywhere from f4 to f2. Although she had trouble controlling herself in falling for him, lie detector drama for example, I think her head would have overpowered her heart and sent him home if he wasn't so convincing and 100% there for her. If she didn't hear ifly in Ghent, I really think he would have been f4, even if it killed her to do it.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon.    Since Josh is exactly her type who has let her down in the past, and Nick is totally not her type but intrigued/attracted her nonetheless, I think it made her even more torn and hesitant to fully trust that Josh was the right pick for her, since it would be a normal reaction to believe that if something hasn't worked in the past, you should try the opposite, ie, a Nick "type" and he was right there for the taking.  Hence, not wanting to let Nick go until she felt completely sure that Josh would not let her down in the future like all the other "Josh" types.   Crappy for Nick to be used/led on in that way, but part of the show.

If there's any truth to the OK article, it might even explain why the producers thought she would ultimately go with Nick; maybe she tried to convince herself (and them) all along that he was the "wise" choice, even though when it really came down to having to choose between the two in the final days, she realized in her heart that she couldn't ever let Josh go, regardless of the possible risks.
