thanks doc. it's still hard to believe it might have gone down like this but US is usually quite accurate. hopefully, it won't be too terrible for the F2 on monday. i think he's going to need some therapy to get over all this.

Yes, although I think they are only as accurate as the show wants them to be.  As I mentioned in another thread, RS confirms that Us has a "working relationship with the show’s production company" so I assume that the two also have a working understanding in that in exchange for the show feeding them inside information the magazine promulgates the often fictional story line, albeit who knows if Us is made privy to what's fact and what's fiction.

And, having said that, Bee, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it went down just as you speculated.  What I would question is that according to Us, the "F1" was not made aware by Andi what was going on.  That I have a hard time believing given the emphasis placed on trust building between them (assuming Josh is, in fact, F1).

      It's so hard to say what she will do, but I think she will let him go early . I think if she sent Cody home during their date to spare him the disappointment of going through the RC, I think she would offer the same courtesy to her F2...But, I have been known to be wrong in the past ...gotta wait and see !!

It occurs to me that Andi was probably very familiar with Des's show.  She may have wondered if Josh would turn out to be her Brooks, deciding to leave her after she had let down her walls.  Then Nick might become her Chris, the one she was also attracted to, the one less likely (in her mind) to break her heart.  So she genuinely wanted to stay open to the possibility of a relationship with Nick.  I have always believed that if Brooks had fallen for Des, he would have been her F1.  JMO, of course.
