Me too, Grandma Peg, especially the bolded. There are so many names that jump out at me on this board, people who state their viewpoint so well, people whose clever insights make me smile or even laugh out loud. I think I enjoy this board as much as the show itself.

I know that usually the Episode Boards are the only ones open during the broadcast.  Would it be possible to open up the Fan Boards tonight so that those of us that want to commiserate can hang together?

TBTB releasing the "mystery letter" seals the deal as to who the F1 is.... I wonder why they would do that unless they are gonna try and stir up drama during the live after show.

There are several reasons why we keep the threads locked during epi night. One of them is to keep the conversation in one thread. Also, it’s easier to monitor when there are hundreds of posts in a short time.

However, after being advised of some concerns from many posters, we have decided to change things up this season! We will see how it goes, and maybe we'll do this for every season.

The Nick and Josh FAN THREADS will remain open.

The Episode thread will be open. This will give everyone a choice on where you’d like to hang out tonight.

The Andi and her F1 thread, Fan and Discussion will open once it has been confirmed who her F1 is.

Please respect your fellow posters. Any posts that are not within the rules, will be deleted, and the thread will be locked to avoid quotes after quotes of the offending post. We won’t have time to review posts and decide what to keep and what stays. We want everyone to enjoy the end of the season.

The last 48 hours have been fun with all the support for your guy. Lets keep it that way and enjoy the show!

Agreed. Andi will need to hang tough because they're going and try to make this all super uncomfortable. I bet Nick was coerced into taking part in these shenanigans and doesn't really think this could end in his favor. He's probably so over it/her in any case.

maybe nick will be the next bachelor and this is all part of the sympathy edit. who knows?

The letter release doesn't make sense--at all. I do remember during Brian/Mary season they accidentally released the proposal photo prior to the finale. It was all over the internet in a big hurry but quickly taken down. The letter just doesn't make sense unless it is Nick's penance for accidentally getting caught in his after finale phone video.

Big something over nothing? Seems most likely. I guess they do have us talking.....

No way is Nick going to be the next Bach.... No matter what edit he gets today..... That guy is despised on/by the SM/ viewers. Very unpopular. (Wrongly so, but casual viewers are just puppets. They believe what they are told. The guys on the show say Nick is a jerk, thus Nick must be jerk.)...smh. MF must be happy to know how dense people are.... I swear, I wanted to smash my head against a wall when reading the shows FB page... IT says that the letter is from one of the F2, yet people just keep saying "Duhhhh, it's totally from Chris, he is the one who wrote letters."...

They may want us to think that it is from Chris. Some of the things would match. They may make it so that Chris is still pining and needs to be the Bachelor. I just don't know what they are thinking for sure. They will likely keep bringing it up throughout the whole first 2 hours, which will totally annoy me
