agree....I feel the video has become   everytime good point about Nick on the show--and why he can be the F1-- has brought up in his own threads  :shocked!: . It seems we need a special thread for that crazy video....

My personal take : the video can be legit regardless the content (which may or may not be true).

Can't answer any of your questions except seats would have to be up until they are ready for take off.

Also if I was the one that made the video and wanted to make it public I would immediately send it to RS. I'd be just to excited to wait but everyone is different.

We really don't know that Nick didn't mention the show where a fan didn't pick up on it because the video didn't start at the beginning of the conversation.

We shall soon see whether it is a foiler or real and may never know if RS hired someone to follow the F2's from DR or just an avid fan that reads RS.

Mr Write sleuthed the flight and time, correct? Has anyone ever been there and would it look like that at night? (the airport).

RS did say he got video within a few hours of getting the info that Josh was F1.

What if RS paid someone/someones like you would the paps to scout out certain airports and be there to get this footage? 
I don't know how the particular details would work(and I realize there would be many), but I would not be surprised if $$ exchanged hands in a plan in order to get this. 
I don't think vidgate was a "fan" and happenchance.

We had some very nice discussion in Nick's fan thread last night about the video. Maybe we should dedicate a thread about the video so we don't have to answer the same questions again and again? (like when & where it's taken and why no handlers)
Anyway, many people believe the contents of the video is legit, but I find the circumstances  suspicious, here's my   . I have no answers to any of them but I would love people to chime in:
- per bolded: it was taken on the flight from Charlotte to Milwaukee. I am from SoCal, so I don't know how big the airport Charlotte is. I can believe scout out Miami international airport, but Charlotte? Is it a big hub for certain airlines?
-something posted by a poster that I found interesting:
"It's a two hour fight from Charlotte to Milwaukee.  The plane didn't even land until approximately 9:44 PM.  Reality Steve posted the info about the videos sometime between 9:44 PM and 12:00 AM since his tweet is dated May 11th. Who ever took the videos edited them, and sent them to RS with in a couple hours. Things that make you go  hmmm"
So it's difficult for me to believe a fan, a hardcore fan who recognized Nick (again, I have a hard time believing people would know him before the bio & pictures came out ), who was aware Nick was part of the show (he never mentioned the show or Andi by name from what we can see), would send the video to RS almost immediately even possibly  before he/she arrived home or unpack or rest (I assume that's what most people would do after a flight at such late hours)....I agree with Kasha, it doesn't look like it's done by a fan or happenchance
-another point brought up by a different poster: it looks like the video was taken during boarding, before takeoff. Is it required the seats have to be upright? Nick's seat looks like inclined ( I could be wrong, so CMIIW)? Would you get such a view of the front row if the seat is upright? Can someone provide insights on this?

Oh, another thing that's totally irrelevant: someone asked if Nick is lefty. My son is 100% lefty, does everything with left hand and he wears his watch on the right. Nick wears his on his left wrist.

Lots of great food for thought. Noticed he travels light.

About the watch, epi 1 after Andi gives Nick the FIR he makes a comment about the time.  Fairly certain his watch was on the right.  You can check back.
Lefty here too and I almost always wear my watch on the right (face down).  

There have been a lot of clocks/timepieces regarding Nick.

- checks watch after FIR and states time
- 1-1: courthouse clock reads 9:15 when they arrive; 10:30 when they are up in the clock tower (may have minutes mixed up)
- clock tower shot during Venice date
There might have been more however the point being part of Nick's edit is intentionally time related: literally & symbolically.

sd: Good points. I know folks are saying the person who took the video heard him talking about the bachelorette. How did they know it wasn't just a convo about any relationship? Where all the names mentioned so well known that early on? And Nick looks different in different photos. I know we had mix ups trying to id him in early photos. To me at least, it is very coincidental that all the stars aligned and this person got exactly what they needed to "spoil" the season. I can be wrong, but I'm truly having a hard time with so many coincidents.

Who was Nick's handler? Because the handler probably would have stayed with Nick at the gate until the flight took off. If it was Elan, would a fan have recognized him and realized who Nick was? Being thus tipped off, then they took the video?

NR : good point of observation . I noticed they show the tower clock when they were kissing too....12.20 am   .

do you have any suggestion as to what is it symbolically represents Nick on the show?...fell hard too soon?....he values time highly? well, we know he will do whatever he can to have more time with Andi.......or....?

If Nick is F1... what does it say about him and Andi re. the (therefore) fake plane videos?

i dont have a crystal ball...nor do i know everything under MF's sleeves   .

Things know for a fact :

-- Chris Siegfried, a genuine sweet man was 'seen' handing roses to girls, accompanied by Elan, filmed by a bunch of crew in the most public place--Pike Market-- in Seattle on a holiday last year. Wowza!. Many folks here (well, except me   ) convinced he was the next Bachelor. Next thing we knew he rode into the Seattle sunset together with the girl, the ring and the rose..  .

the 'modus operandi' : just put a great BAIT out there in public..and let the 'nature' works...(we got IG, twitter pics from onlookers)
.Gee....I called it Seattle fool.  

Guess what? plane is also a public space, isnt it?  :whistle: 

-- Des and Chris in an interview said they gladly 'played along' with the wrong spoilers and thought it was fun!   . This is a sweet couple with a mild sense of humor. I Can only imagine of NiAn pairing with their wicked sarcastic sense of humor... . Besides, on the show, Nick said he will do whatever he can in his power to have TIME with Andi. We knew poor Brooks needed to do a cruise, since perhaps the stalkers were constantly around him 24/7 while Chres peacefully met up on the road throughout the season. :P  

-- MF said in an interview during Des's season airing, and, we later found out, that No One left 'unscathed' from the show. I cant see why it wont be happening again this season.

Interesting.  So you're suggesting that Nick was only happy to make the call and video to deflect attention?  I like it!!  :-)

Addressing some of the points from above...

Don't forget that there is a time change so the landing in Milwaukee would be approximately 8:44PM. On twitter, the time on the tweet is always based on the settings of the reader's timeline. For example, my settings are CST because I live in the midwest. This is how RS's tweet appears in CST.



Thus the window of time from landing to tweet is about 4 hours not 2. I recently took a video on my phone and emailed it from my phone to a relative. It took me all of two minutes if that. Personally, I do not believe any editing was done to the video. It was simply filmed in two parts...OR maybe RS edited the video some to protect his source.   

As far as the reclined seat, it looked to me that these are the new seats being used on planes nowadays. We recently flew on a brand new plane and this is the "normal" look. There are now gaps between seats. At least, there were in economy on United. I do not think the seat is reclined...but perhaps I'm wrong.

I would love for the spoilers to be wrong just to stick it to RS, but I truthfully don't care who is F1. I like all the guys well enough. That said, I wanted to give another perspective to the discussion points from above.

At first I thought I had found a smoking gun, and the video was not as RS described, but on closer look I do now think it was taken on Flight 3837 from Charlotte to Milwaukee departing at 7:44PM

Here's why:
1. At first I thought it was too light outside for it to be a 7:44 PM flight, but you can hear the flight attendant, saying good evening to passengers, so that appears to conform with RS's information.

2. Flight 3837 is virtually always a Bombardier CRJ-200, and indeed it appears that Nick was on that kind of plane.""

If someone is interested, they can check out the layout of the plane. Looks like it has more space so Litta you could be right.
