Hindsight is always 20/20... but there is a lot this season to make one go HMMMM.
Given what we've seen so far, I personally can not imagine Andi choosing anyone but Nick.
Still, If she is with Josh, IMO Andi does have a lot of explaining to do - as you say GA, there is no acting with Nick, she is totally into him....
And for me if you take the plane video out of the picture... this is the Nick & Andi show, plain and simple.

If Chris and Des could recover from the Brooks nonsense and JP and Ashley recovered from her Bentley and Ben experiences etcetc I am sure this years happy couple will do so as well. They have had months to build the real relationship ( or not ). Hopefully F2 did not torture himself with watching the past and has moved to the future and present weeks and weeks ago.

IMO, If Andi made the right choice and Josh is indeed the guy for her, then they'll make it work. There is a reason why TBs' success rate is less than spectacular.
It's though. There is a lot of pressure on the final couple and it takes a lot of work and absolute commitment to each other to succeeded post-show.

I suspect most F2s initial belief right after they're dumped is that the lead changed their mind at the last minute, because prior to that they had completely bought into the fairytale that it was just the two of them, and it's hard to fathom that somebody else is having a similar experience with the same person.  That's why every lead always has a revelation when they first see things from the other side, how it's possible to have these parallel relationships, and why as a contestant you can be so completely in the dark as to the whole picture.  In some seasons, the lead is more torn than in others, and may take longer to settle on one person.  I doubt that there are very many instances of truly changing one's mind at the last minute though; Jason might be the only one who really wasn't sure at FRC and it showed in his infamous breakdown over the balcony.  Let's see how Andi handles it all on the finale, I think that will give a real clue as to how things truly went, but I suspect nothing out of the ordinary happened this season, and it's just a typical F2 being shocked (and let us not forget all the brainwashing the handlers are doing with the poor soul as well, particularly at the end   ).

Once the show begins airing, and the rejected final 2 can see that she had a strong connection with the final 1, coming out of the bubble becomes much easier.

Reading this reminded me, in an interview, post show, (think it was Morning Blend?) Andi said that the difference between JPG season and her season was that as a contestant, she was very unaware of what was happening outside of her relationship with JP.

That said, I can see how Nick, who was encouraged by Andi, gushed repeatedly about his relationship with her, thought that he was a frontrunner. And I say a frontrunner because Nick watched previous seasons, he had to know that there would be a point where the lead connects deeply with multiple people. According to the editing, Josh or Chris never spoke to the others about how their relationship progressed with Andi so how could he really know???

So to me, as far as pre show filming is concerned, I still find Nick very naive. How could you think that the other guys not flaunting their relationship with the lead = that they don't have a rival connection to yours? And I personally don't buy the producer prodding either, I mean, I have a mind of my own, I know that there are other guys that she's connecting with, why would I be naive enough to think I 100% have this in the bag so early on?

I'm still holding out hope that Nick's cutting words on the plane video were just an emotional outlet and grasping at straws to try and make sense as to how this all played out.

Although if you are Nick and you are REALLY feeling the connection... I can understand 'going for it' in spite of the crazy show.
I don't think Nick was naïve - he acknowledged the possibility that he would go home on his HTD....
He just believed what he was feeling.

Because of the way she treated him. FIR, excited and being turned on by the flowers, the sneak to her room, the extra time, even though he had a rose. There were a lot of steamy scenes, more to come in the ocean (which BTW she said she didn't want to do ocean or hot tub scenes, a dig at JPG season.) She was very flirty and affectionate with Nick from the beginning IMO.

There is a vid someone made, I'm sorry I forget who, of Andi and Nick's journey. It's pretty clear to me and others, she was enjoying her time with him. I compare other leads that we can tell when they aren't into their F2, Jillian/Kipytn Ali/ChrisL, I can't tell with Andi, or they aren't showing it.

I'm wondering if the reference to past ocean scene's will come up in the edit.

IDK GA, I've watched her interaction with Nick and Josh and I think there's equally as much encouragement for both. Although, I do think Nick getting the ocean date would throw him off further. I guess my point was just that I thought Nick was naive to think there was no competition when he'd watched this scenario play out before. Maybe I should be using another word to describe it?

I remember that Jillian and Jason FD steamy scene and just remembered thinking, how could he pick anyone else after that?? And he did...
