Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not? part 2

Wow, not much "playing nice" in this sandbox. Bottom line... Nick and Josh are both great guys and Andi will choose/chose who she wanted to pick. She stated in an interview that chemistry was the most important thing as far as starting off in a relationship. Good for her.

She knows what she wants and needs and it is not our job to pick her life partner. Who knows if she and the final 1 will make it, but by all indications she and the rest of the guys are in a good place.

I don't think it was proven or shown which of the guys lied and what they even lied about. We are shown an edited version of EACH of them, and to say one is too this or that makes no sense. We don't know them really. Josh seems to be very religious post show, and we were never given that impression. Same with Nick actually. Funny how tptb never show that part of their personalities. I bet Andi told them this is very important to her. Hmmmmm ???

Right now they're trying to make us suspicious about Nick & his intentions and it's obviously working with a lot of viewers. They're also hitting us over the head with the front runner tag. I'm wondering if they'll soften his edit by the HTDs and if it will make a difference. Josh is getting a mixed edit. Definitely showing some chemistry but also conflict with him objecting to the lie detector test. I don't know if it's exactly edit but his gushing & being flustered early on triggered a red flag for me because he seems too smooth for that.

Jillian didn't seem to like either Nick or Josh in her blog and she thought Josh would be leaving without a rose.

To me, one of the biggest clues of the edit (which they are trying to detach from when it happened) is Andi's complete meltdown about the fairytale being called that because it doesn't happen. It was clearly recorded after the lie detector group date and therefore has to be about Josh since there wasn't any other apparent conflict.
As far as the guys are concerned, yes TPTB give them such a narrow edit to suit whatever storyline they are pushing. Both Nick and Josh seem like good guys to me with the normal human reactions. Outside of the show both seem to have good family relationships, to be men of faith, etc. Inside the show, one is sneaky and the other lies or has trust issues. I doubt either is true.

Oh gosh not Jillian again! She is the WORST picker imo. Love her and I even loved Ed, but wow, was she wrong!

I totally agree that edit discussion is appropriate here, and I agree with albean that the edit does influence how we perceive the characters of this show. Tptb know what they are doing! Who would have guessed both Josh and Nick are actually religious, Godly men or certainly appear to be post show!??

Differences of opinion, perception, speculation on what we each see is to be expected, and it certainly can't be that one is precisely right or wrong, nor bashing of any one contestant. Probably we are each a bit right and a bit wrong all in the same breath.

I cannot wait until we get the answers from the horse's mouth.   

Trying to decipher the outcome based on the edit-storyline is the topic of this thread, so it's reasonable to expect that posters will view things differently and will post views that may differ from those contained in "fan" threads. I enjoy reading other's views and am amazed at the sleuthing that goes on!  I don't perceive views that differ from mine to be mean spirited or bashing a contestant that I posted about.

So if I'm understanding this...  Nick is an uncaring and selfish person because he is focused on developing his relationship with MeAndi?  He is selfish because he put MeAndi first over bromances in the house - as CH instructed the guys to do?  When TPTB asked him to "sneak" over to MeAndi's room - with camera crew in tow - should he have insisted on taking the other guys along to show how considerate he is?   He does all of these things knowing he will incur the wrath of his fellow contestants, but he isn't giving MeAndi the attention she needs?  

I'd be a little more concerned about a 30 year old contestant that hasn't managed to have a relationship with a young lady in over five years.  My humble opinion of course.

I completely agree with the bolded. If he's had relationships, why not tell her(and us) about them...why hide it. IMO, there is something that just doesn't feel true about that and again, it seems that he's beeing shifty?

Truthfully, the only ones (at least the ones we know make to Final 4) shown to have no major flaws and positive edits are Chris and Marcus. Whether one of them is F1 remains to be seen. I think all Final 4, actually all Final 6 are good guys however.

I don't think he couldn't managed to have a relationship with a woman. I just think he didn't want to as his brother Aaron and Josh himself have said that. There's a big difference between don't want to have a relationship that it's not gonna end in marriage and can't manage to have a relationship.
