Andi's and Josh's conflict is the exact same with Ali's and Roberto IMO.

Ali's season, wasn't it that Ali was concerned if Roberto would love her?

In response to your primary four questions:
yes... except for one "obstacle to overcome" spoken in their blink-and-you'll miss sitdown at Meet & Greet (ep #1): "Seattle".
yes... although the Kalon business wasn't much. To Jefie, Little Ricki was at least Louis Vuitton baggage.
yes... we sure got tired of hearing the B word all season long, even jokingly on JP's fantasy date.
yes... she wasn't sure "he'd love me back", which is why she had to boo-hoo so much when Frankie hightailed.

This is the way I see it.

Ali couldn't believe someone as good looking as Roberto would fall for her. Ali didn't think she was good enough for him. Roberto was the one that was there for her, keeping her focused. He mentioned several times to remember to look at him,(making the V sign with his fingers bringing it to his eyes) whenever she felt insecure. He was laid back, no drama, he was confident in a humbling way.

ChrisL was from Massachusetts, same as Ali. He was for the most part the favourite. They focused on his backstory about his Mom, rainbows, and his heartbreak loosing her.

With Josh the conflict is his perceived reputation of an athlete (even though he hasn't been an athlete for years.)

With Nick, he was sceptical going into this, and she feels its her job to encourage him the process works.

TPTB are pretty powerful too. Can't tell me that whole scene wasn't staged....with the cameras that just happened to be around to catch it all. Maybe the same person that took that video also took Nick's video on the plane! Hugesmile

Nicks escapage was staged just like Seans and Arie's was on Emily's season and Clare was permitted to go visit JaunP on his.
Both Clare and Nick were easily manipulated by the producers with their little entrance stunt and his "special treatment" wooing of Andi.

Yep. And it's no coincidence that both of them have been portrayed as monopolizing too much of the lead's time, in the eyes of the other contestants, already. Feeds right into the storyline, ie, if Chris or Brian had done it, who'd care or even believe it of them?

But we must remember that two days later on the group date she chose Nick to receive the GDR and have dinner and fireworks..she could have given it to any of the guys there that didn't have a second 1/1 and a all nighter..
So it does makes ME wonder.
