But, we also know that whatever the big reveal is it doesn't stop their romance. Marcus is still getting the "tongue" action.

I agree with you Cindebugg. Marcus and Chris are just there for filler for F4. IMO I think Marcus goes home first so more time can be given to Chris if TPTB are considering him for the next bachelor. They need to build up the Chris rejection story more to garner sympathy from the viewers if he becomes the next bachelor. If spoilers are correct in that Marcus is on BIP then that probably means he is either not interested or is not being considered for the next bachelor. JMO

This Josh conversation on the group date still keeps me in stitches…

After all of the fodder about not trusting the lie detector test… *yawn*

Josh: Why do you feel like I am hiding something from you?
Andi: I dunno. Sometimes I think you have a guard up.
(Pan shot of them in front of a Roman statue of a gladiator, hardly guarded with his tunic.)
… and you don’t feel it.
Josh: I don’t. I don’t have a guard up at all. I’m not hiding anything from you. Ever. Like the only thing I keep thinking all the time is just me and you and our relationship. (she strokes each side of her hair) And that’s it.
Andi: What do you think about it?
Josh: And I like it. I think that everything is progressing…
Andi: Give me more than like. You like it… (huhmmm) What do you think about it? What do you like about it?
Josh: I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t feel, like, our relationship was going in the right direction and I wouldn’t be here at the end of the day…
Andi (hair stroke): You’re right. You wouldn’t be here.
Josh: I wouldn’t be here and you wouldn’t have me here…
Andi: Noooo…
Josh: And I wouldn’t be here myself…
Andi voice-over: This huge cloud of doubt came in and I have been so clear on how I felt about Josh up (hair stroke) until this point… and it is making me question my own feelings.
Andi to Josh: I don’t know what to think because as much as you don’t know how I feel, I don’t know what you feel.
Josh: (statue prominent in background… lower half, that is) I hope you know what I feel because of what we had in Marseille and everywhere else because that’s all real
Andi (hair stroke): I think I know. I think I know but there is…
Josh: You need to know.
Andi: … that doubt.
Josh: Hmmm
Andi PI: It is starting to make me question everything about this group date…

To be fair, she did stroke her hair in worry when Chris was about to reveal something to her, then abruptly stopped once she realized it would be about his letters. Never stroked again… well, at least not her hair.

Very funny Josh edit (how can you not love the guy!) before the rose ceremony, suggesting Dylan isn’t the only one feeling “sick”.

Man! This whole scene belongs here:



Josh says “Just want to make sure I’m not the one going home”, followed by Dylan’s “I’m going to do whatever I can to stay here. On the last group date, I had to go home before the cocktail party”.

Next shot shows Dylan pouring his 2008 Amarone as he continues… “I was pretty sick and didn’t get my time that I wanted and tonight’s the night to make that aggressive move right away and try to get time with her.”

Now Andi arrives in her car, foot to the ground at a low (under-the-table) angle.

Funny line by Andi that sounds so Freudian: “Lots of highs and lots of lows this week.”

Nick jumps in, but Dylan is encouraged by Chris to go “get your ass up there” since both he and Josh were insinuating that Nick was their “excuse” for not taking the initiative. Dylan bravely decides to hold himself together (hand over his you-know-where as he gets up) as he marches in to remove Nick from Andi with his trusty spatula.

Andi’s comment to Nick: “It is funny how in week one you were so skeptical…” *slurp slurp*

Dylan, however, makes no sense at all when he says he may go home if he can “feel that way”… the way Nick is demonstrating with Andi mouth-to-mouth. Huh? Whatcha talkin’ ‘bout, Dylan?

After Nick comes back, Josh goes on and on about not making his move while Marcus repeats what Dylan was doing earlier… “I’m gonna go get another drink”… then is later sitting down with Andi. He simply says “There’s a reason I met you. There’s a reason I’m staying here. I see a great future with us and I’m falling in love with you and I am in love with you”… *whew*… then goes in for a kiss despite her constant blinking. (Ugh! Her BL with Marcus HERE is awful.)

Poor Josh: “There is so much going through my mind, the last thing I want to do is just sit there. I want 1 on 1 time with her”

Next up JJ, only we didn’t see him get a drink. “There’s something on my mind since the last time we talked”. Andi responds “OK?” Kiss.

Nice thing about Josh. He is no longer sitting. As he says “All I keep thinking about is this long flight back to Atlanta”, he’s strolling around a table full of liquor bottles.

Next up is Brian, without the booze like JJ. He reads a letter saying “I hate the way my knees weaken every time I see you. I hate how scared I am that I’m falling for you so quickly. And I hate how I don’t hate any of those feelings.” Awwwww!

Josh is back to his couch explaining to Marcus and Nick how nervous he feels.

Finally! Josh brings his big bottle to his sitdown with her. She talks about heartbreak, but the conversation is peculiar in regards to who will be potentially heartbroken.

Andi: There’s a part of me, like, that saw potential heartbreak.
Josh: That’s not gonna happen at all. Not with ME.
Andi: I’m just sayin’… there’s a part of me that was, like, THIS could end up in heartbreak
Josh: No. Not at all. Not with ME.
Andi: Why not with YOU?
Josh: Because it is not gonna happen with ME. It is just not it… and I tried telling you that last time. I guess it didn’t come out how I wanted to say.

Josh PI: I’ve tried making it clear to her that I do have strong feelings for her. I wanted to make sure she understood that (splice) It is not the easiest thing in the world to be vulnerable. To put myself out there when I’m not 100% sure how Andi’s feeling.

“It’s nerve-racking. Rose ceremonies are not my favorite night, especially when you don’t have a rose.” (Andi says over Josh “I’ve very grateful to every one of you guys and it is that time…”) “At the end of the day, people have to be eliminated and…” (camera moves to Dylan) “I definitely don’t want to” (back to Josh) “go home tonight. I want to be the last one standing and the last one for Andi... so I have no idea whose gonna be sent home tonight. Just hoping it is not me.” (camera stays strictly on Josh the whole time apart from a brief pan shot of the guys)

I don't think there is any negative to be found anywhere. He is a total package who really cares for Andi. The question is Does Andi sees him at the final?
I would not worry about him, he is still very young, an eye candy, really hottttt. This will be a great learning for him, preparing him for right women for him. JMO

I would not worry about him, he is still very young, an eye candy, really hottttt. This will be a great learning for him, preparing him for right women for him. JMO

Age is not always a great indicator of maturity, but 25 is really young. And he fell so hard so fast - Andi, as a litigator, is an evidence girl. Doesn't seem like he is able to back up his affection with "data," he just says he loves her, how she makes him feel. On a similar note, Josh, "I really like you." Andi, "What do you like?" Josh, "Everything about you."

On the opposite spectrum you have Nick, 33, using adjectives like"strength, purpose, intelligent, impressive."

I agree with all of the above, and saying it just makes sense from an age standpoint (one factor only) that he would go before the others.  

Jen, you make good points. Chris as the secret admirer and Nick have both been articulating what qualities of hers they are attracted to. Marcus and Josh aren't (at least as we are shown).

You know I think that's what it is for me. I might upset a few by saying this but Josh just seems sooo hyper to me, a little over the top with not much substance. It's like she's trying to pull something out of him (not just an ILY) but something to make her believe in "them" as a couple. With Nick I think they connect on a more intellectual level. Nick articulates what he's thinking or what he wants and I think Andi is attracted to that.

I like this post! I think Josh doesn't realize how much she needs to hear this from him and it's driving her crazy and making her doubt what's going on in his head. I think she and Nick definitely have a mental and emotional connection that's super strong, he's a great talker and communicator and Andi loves it and responds to the specifics he tells her he likes/loves. I'm sure his job helps with that too. It's not that weird that he felt he was the far and away f1 because I do think their connection is special and very, very different from what she is experiencing with Josh.

on marcus' thread someone mentioned something about his creepy job so i looked it up. he works in cryotherapy. maybe they run with that and make it into the weird HTD, andi is weirded out by it and marcus really does go home at F4. i was thinking RS must have mixed up the F3 & F4 like he has a couple other times but maybe not. i don't know but its all a thought.
