Yes, when the lead has already suffered some humiliation of her own during the FDs that is usually enough drama to merit a change in formula. And I think they allowed Emily to send Arie home early because they kissed her ass all season as she was their (cough) "dream get" (and oh goodness, we can't allow the sacred single mother to get criticized  :vomit: ). At best, maybe they allowed Andi to stop Nick from saying the words once he was on bended knee. But sending him home before FRC I think would have been out of the question.

There has never been a Bachelorette lead who has not received at least one proposal (some two) and all but one have walked away engaged to somebody.  Sadly, there is still a double standard and if the female lead would not end the show engaged, or at least proposed to, I think the press would designate her a LOSER REJECT.  Ridiculous, but it puts added pressure on Andi not to be the first to get that title.  So yeah, I agree with Alanna somewhat that she will take Nick (who she actually does really care for IMO, and would have gotten engaged to for sure had Josh not been in the cast) to the FRC.  As to letting him propose, it's not her decision, the producers have to LET her send him home early, and I seriously doubt they did, considering this has become the "Everybody Hates Nick" show and they want him humiliated.

    Tptb are nasty! No sympathy will be shown and as the season progresses, it is clear that Nick is the lamb and they are setting him up perfectly.

I remember dissecting Arie and Emily's last scenes before he left. There was definitely some creative splicing and editing. There were so many things that were questionable, Like the camera guys trying to get correct angles. At one point they were running and we were getting footage of the ground. Arie's exit car wasn't there and ready to go. You can hear and see the producer's jumping into the car. Usually the car is running and the only person you see getting in is the dumpee. I also had evidence that her talk with Chris was taped after Arie had already left. This board also knew that Arie and Emily stayed at a completely different resort than Sean and Jef. Not to mention the home depot FRC, her ill fitting FRC dress, her hair, Jef not getting a new suit and Arie leaving thinking that she had left the show alone and single. Oh, and how mad she seemed to be at Arie during post show interviews. I wish I had kept all my notes but thinking back the evidence was mounting that Arie left on his own but because, like you said, they didn't want Emily shown as getting dumped...

So, about an hour ago Josh posted a picture to his Instagram from a golf tournament (it might have been the one from last weekend/monday?) and I guess while he was there Eric Decker and Jessie James Decker were also there. Andi is a huge Jessie James Decker fan and Jessie even sent out a tweet recently that said "Isn't Andi Dorfman gorgeous?" and Andi responded to her. It's only been an hour since Josh posted the instagram picture and now Andi is following Eric Decker on Twitter too now as she just started following him. Josh started following them on Twitter last night and now Eric Decker follows Josh on Twitter too.

Could be nothing absolutely, but the timing was funny and I figured I'd post that here just in case people don't tread over to Josh's fan thread.

I never said anything about her forcing him to do anything. I do not like coercive and manipulative people, and would hope Andi is not coercive. Simply giving remembrance gifts, like I might give my boyfriend something UWW to remember me by when I'm away and not able to be with him.

My stating Andi was forcing him to wear it, is actually the way others have phrased it here. If he wants to wear something to support her, great! I like LSU colors and have many friends who are LSU grads. It is one of my favorite SEC schools, if they will start beating Texas A&M I will love them even more.

Others have said that Andi the LSU grad was enjoying making Josh the UGA guy wear her colors. So I should have been more careful and stated that if Andi was forcing him. I thought I implied that it was just a gift and not a forced LSU thing than that was great and cool.

One reason that I hesitate to think Andi is making him wear them for LSU is that she herself has not been spotted with LSU stuff on at all.  I am a Texas Grad, loud and proud.  I don't wear Texas stuff all the time, but do on game days and such.  I have not seen one pic of Andi in anything LSU.  BTW, my hubby got his PhD from FSU, I have offered to buy him FSU gear and he tells me to not bother, it is not his thing.  To each their own in that regard.  But he has no big desire to make me wear FSU colors or gear either.

So why "make" Josh wear stuff to signify LSU if she doesn't herself?  If she is making him do it to prove that she is more important than his alma mater of UGA, then yet another selfish MeAndi act.

Now, they could be gifts from Andi that have nothing to do with LSU, and in that case, cool enjoy.  Nice show of support.

Yup, I bleed burnt orange, even if it is a hideous color. I even tease my hubby that FSU's color is pretty close to A&M. Being a UT grad, I have also been heard to say that nothing good comes in shades of red.

My husband was recommended for a position at A&M, not happening since they wanted someone with much more experience, but I was happy. I miss Texas, I would even move back to College Station, never Bryan. Sorry, I know too much about the pollution in Bryan, but College Station yes. I even briefly dated an Aggie after graduation.

I tend to cheer for the Texas schools, but A&M is not on that list anymore, since they joined Arkansas and became traitors to the their conference. It does pain me sometimes to have to cheer for OU in bowl or important games and always went by the saying better the idiot from inside your state (A&M) than the idiot from the other state (OU).

I am actually like the Murrays, I am a Florida native, who chose to go to a big school out of state. I think Texas is a better school than UGA and I tell all the UGA grads that I know that, but I get the idea.

As a UGA fan, no fan especially a grad is going to wear LSU colors.  The colors he wears represent something else.

My sister a school teacher moved to TN for hubby's job. When their son grad from HS, he went to TN due to Hope grant and TN teacher discount. My sister a UGA grad wore red and black to move her son into the dorm.

The teams are rivals, no GA fan - a former player at that- would ever wear LSU colors...I don't care how much he loves her....not going to happen!

That was kind of my point, but maybe Andi is so magical it is worth it.  SEC schools don't play that way.  Trust me, my ex-in-laws were Auburn grads, the first time my ex brought me to their house they knew I was from Florida, so they greeted me at the door and asked if I was a Florida fan.  I went to UT since I was interested in science and UF is the better Florida school for that so nope, never a UF fan, never!  They let me in and I did then ask if they hated UF so much why did their school have almost the same colors.  I think I earned their respect for that.

BTW, my ex, their son, was such a putz that he cheered for Bama to piss them off.  They were all Cowboys fans and he liked the 49ers.  I am not sure why I married, oh that is right, my mom rushed me into it!

jpcook, my hubby thought about moving to Oak Ridge in 2010 when I was getting ready to go back to grad school, so I applied. I tried to be good, I really did, but about half way through the day, I started calling them the wrong UT. I was still accepted and once I graduate, we may move there. I will still and always call it the wrong UT.

I have said this to my husband's whole family, who are Tennessee fans. I have no problem cheering for the Titans or the Predators. I grew up a Dolphins fan, but even I can't pretend that organization isn't a sinking ship anymore.
