Yes it's the purple and gold that are recent and what I'm questioning. They also look like they might be tied together as well

The closest thing I could find showing LSU wristband to match this is this photo: I do not think the one Josh is wearing is this as it would be a bit obvious to anyone looking at it, as it says LSU. I could find nothing that looked like a purple band (above) with the gold tone ribbon.

I don't think it's anything officially LSU as that would be a dead give away but if it's just the two colors together no one would know (like us) what it stood for.

Here's another question for anyone who eats sushi regularly...would you find a normal sushi order where your plate was adorned with what resembles a red rose? Momma Murray posted that pic on Friday? while they were all out having sushi.

I didn't see the picture but maybe the staff recognize and know that she is Josh mother and place the rose there...Just a thought

Yes, the rose and other Japanese food art are a common plate garnish. Don't know her reason for posted. The Murrays seem to post a lot from what I see in this forum. Could be they are having fun dropping clues.
