Nutty, can you bring over the picture Josh tweeted yesterday from his grandpa's birthday party.  That is the one which caught my eye initially about the purple and gold ribbons.  You can distinctly see the colors.  Then I was unsure about the connection since I hadn't seen the picture from the wedding.  That confirmed that it was more than just the birthday celebration where he was wearing them.  However, if I had only seen the wedding photo, I may not have picked up on the purple and gold.  

The black bracelet could be the same, definitely similar. And in the birthday picture, he is wearing two black bracelets.

I don't see a gold band. There are many awareness bracelets represented by gold black or purple. It could be any one of those.

I looked at some old photos on Josh's facebook and I noticed that he has been wearing that black "bracelet" (or what it now is) since 2009.

That looks like a rubber band to me!!

My sons are both in their 20's. They each were several different bracelets, different ones at different times. They all don't have a meaning to them.

He's wearing that on the show too. I actually think it's a rubber band that stands for anti-racism or something like that, nothing we should dig deeper in.

For me, there is no question about the black band.  Nor any reason for me to wonder why he wears it. Although now he is wearing two.

I am curious/intrigued by the purple and gold/yellow.  They could be rubber bands, ribbon or yarn, no matter.  Why recently, why together?  They appear to be distinctly purple and gold/yellow.  Is it really just a coincidence?

We're not speculating about the black bracelet.... he's been wearing that forever...It's the second black bracelet and the purple and gold bands that he just started wearing that are worth speculating.

My take: second black bracelet is a #livelikeeric bracelet. Patrick has an instagram picture of his, and producer Elan has instagrammed his as well.

The gold and purple bands are clearly LSU colors. Since Josh & co. are diehard Bulldogs, I can only assume these bands have something to do with Andi.

Once again, only speculating...
