Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?

I dunno... going by way of this "subjective" edit... if Chris really is being groomed for Next Bachelor. I see either Josh or Marcus.

The H-word... and some other words of interest

Granted, she may not get married or even engaged at all. We still have the option of her choosing nobody. Yet I am holding her accountable for talking up a storm here. Yes, there is plenty of "can be" and "might be", not "will be". Also all of this "wanting" could indicate she "ain't getting" if HE doesn't cooperate.

#1.) First use is this intro line: "I came onto the Bachelor to find my husband and the love of my life, but I found out that I was not meant to be with Juan Pablo."

#2 & #3.) Andi boarding her limo: "I feel so lucky. I want to meet my husband... like, some guy is going to get out of the limo and that can be my husband" She is then fidgeting with her ring: "My heart is just pounding. This is just the beginning."

Next shot: Limos in dark again with Chris' "I'm finally excited to meet her". As he finishes saying this, he is shown face-on as Patrick says (actually in limo #2 but voice-overing) "I can't wait to get out and her face just light up..."

Nick V. in limo #2 smiles at Patrick (same limo) as he completes his sentence: "and get drawn right into those eyes". Patrick's closing line "She's got to be nervous like us."

#4.) Harrison greeting Andi...

Harrison: Andi. Look at you. You look beautiful.
Andi (hugging): Thank you.
Harrison (getting cheezier by the second): 25 guys are about to pull up right in this driveway all for you.
Andi: I'm excited but I'm, like, I'm so nervous.
Harrison: What are you so nervous about?
Andi: The thought that my husband could be in one of those limos and the fact that I could be meeting him in the next, y'know, ten or fifteen minutes is just crazy.
Harrison: It is crazy to think.
Andi: I know.
... more fodder... let the journey begin... yah yah.

Marcus arrives from limo #3, but edited as first guy out of limos. He is followed by Chris, who was first in reality. Both guys make the 15 minute mark along with JJ on screen. (Marcus and Chris are also shown in the recap show after a replay of the above conversation.)

#5.) In the mansion, Meet & Greet

Andrew (shown): You have the leg up here because you've seen this before.
Andi (shown): I know, but I haven't seen this before. (pan shot)

Chris speaking: "I can't believe this is happening." (guys jumping) "I am so thankful and lucky to be here right now. I can't think of a better way to start a love story with Andi."
Josh at the pool imitating Harrison: "Come join! Come join!" "I do feel like I'm living in paradise. It's perfect right now. The only other thing I need, the other piece of the puzzle, is Andi."
Nick S. looking in a room, as if searching for another puzzle piece: "It's huge!"

No H-word in episodes #3 and #4... unless I missed them.

The W-word

Episode #2... used three times.

Chris Harrison: I've been doing this a while, obviously...
... she's one of the best (Marcus shown)

Eric suggests Andi might be his future wife. On his date...
Andi: If you had a family or a wife, would you still kinda risk that in order to achieve your goal of being in every country?
Eric: No.
Andi: But if safety was a concern, like, how would you balance that?
Eric: Here's the thing. The biggest goal in life is to actually have a family. For me, there's a whole list of hings that I will never do again once I have a kid. Thee are a few things if I have to try, I have to try now and luckily that list is becoming very short.
Andi: Interesting...

JJ is #2 guy seeing Andi as a future wife in episode #3.

Marcus is #3 saying "she could end up being my wife. She could be the one who says 'yes' to me."

The E-word

Chris and Nick nebulously get tied to the E-word, but the editors really pussyfoot the footage around it:

"After the group date, I was definitely down about this group of guys and wondering who's just here to party here and who's actually here for love and then I went on my date with Chris and that was such a breath of fresh air, so going into tonight I am still hopeful and I do see myself hopefully being with one of these guys and at the end of this, walking away engaged."

Next up is Nick's scene with her. If we take this... literally... either this means Nick will get "engaged" (to her or... somebody else)... or she will "walk away" from him engaged to somebody else. Sneaky little b*****ds, those editors.

The M-word

Eric's date (episode #2):

Andi: OK... so tell me who is married.
Eric: Yeah... so the engineer brother. Married. Four kids.
Andi: Wow
Eric: My sister... married. Three kids. (OK) My younger brother married. Three kids. (Sttttop) My medical school brother. Three Kids. I want kids, I guess that is scary for you, but...
Andi: No.
Eric: I want kids and I always thought I could handle that. But the marriage part is something that, in the last two years, I was actually OK with. I would say it before, but to actually do it... I just wasn't ready for it before.
Andi: Yeah, what do you think changed?
Eric: The biggest part of it is seeing other people that I knew and loved before get married and I still know and love them. (Yeah) They didn't disappear. They didn't become weird. Their lives didn't end. They still have all this adventure. They are still themselves.

On Chris' date (episode #2): "When I picture my life, y’know, 55 years from now, I do hope that I’m married with the same person and sitting at the race track. Enjoying an afternoon  together. I want that. I want that love and that marriage that lasts a lifetime. This is exactly why I wanted to be Bachelorette. Now all I have to do is bet on the right horse. (camera is focused on Chris.)

On JJ's date (episode #3): "My parents have been married for over thirty years and I want a relationship that endures that much time and I want that strong marriage. If I get married, to me, that is for forever and until death do us part... and today is a chance just to see what JJ and I would be like 50 years from now."
... now that JJ and I have transformed ourselves into an old married couple, we're gonna walk Santa Barbara boardwalk, on the beach, and see if we can fool some people.
... having fun should be a huge part of a marriage
... I think if JJ and I have been married 50 years, the day would have gone exactly how it did."

Dream Man

Harrison is the one saying this, not Andi.

4th rose ceremony: "Andi has proven that she has made the sacrifice to be here for one reason and on reason only and that is to sincerely find the man of her dreams

The camera pans a full line up of guys starting with Chris, and keeping him in the frame, but with Nick, JJ, Josh, Andrew, Marquel, Tasos, Patrick and Cody also included. (No Marcus though.) Then the camera zooms on Chris solo once the word "man of her dreams" is completed.

Dream Woman

In limo #1, Andrew toasts: "Here's to meeting the woman of ONE of our dreams and living happily ever after."

We only see Josh B. sitting to his left, but Andrew is not facing him. He is facing the three guys in front of him... off camera. They are...

Chris before his date. Eric, sporting the hoodie, didn't approve of him putting himself down though.

The T-word

Dylan had to "trust" she would handle his back-story.

Marcus' date was all about "trust". I lost count of the number of times it was used there. There was a humorous moment when he asked if they should kiss in front of the guys watching (cue edit of Chris looking out the window) and she instantly responds "no".

Guess I should bring up the D-word

D is for Dylan and D is for...

On JJ's date (episode #3), after she says "til death do us part" a second time, we get the scene of Ron leaving for his dead friend, followed by... Chris voicing concern for him.
Then Ron says "I'm gonna be saying my goodbye" as the camera zooms on... Eric.
Then... Dylan, who lost two siblings, says "there was a death of one of his friends" at the very moment Ron hugs... Chris.
Later... back to fun and "goofy" Andi and JJ... they have a conversation about him being a dork (like Andi) and his first girlfriend being a polar opposite of him (a.k.a. very serious... as a hint that Andi's F1 may potentially be the total opposite of her since she keeps saying JJ is like her), we are interrupted by Dylan talking to Chris about his brother being brain dead... and Chris comforting him.
In addition, JJ's line of "growing old with her" is spoken on the seasonal promo over a shot of Andi having a lot of fun in the snow with... Eric, the one who said he was hurting from smiling so much.

Of course, Dylan's date in Connecticut was a foreshadowing of what happens later in her "journey".

Words that have nothing to do with all of this but are my favorite lines of this entire season regardless, even if they are a trifle syrupy. Apparently Harrison liked them too and recapped two sentences on his blog.

Eric: "I’m sad because I saw there could be potential there and it’s too bad because it did hurt me to see Andi cry. Love is the most important thing to me in my entire life. A lot of unorthodox ways of doing things have happened in my life and maybe this is exactly what I need to find love. It is the reason to live. Love leads to family and those two together are what life is all about. I feel more ready than I ever felt before. It is the most important thing in a relationship to just be open and real with each other. If Andi knew it the way that I meant it, that I really cared to get to know her more and I wanted to see her just be comfortable around me. I don’t know, but something went very wrong inside."

What went wrong was that you knew you weren't the one once she began behaving like a TV actress around you a few days after your date.

Wow JBF you put a lot of work into this. I appreciate your hard work, but would love to see your thoughts on the sm clues out there.

Tomorrow we will see---they will show---a glimpse of the "hot" chemistry between Josh and Andi. Maybe your take on the edit will change, because for me I see it totally different. Should be good!

This is the season of social media clues, and it makes it hard for me to focus on the edit and screen caps, or should I say lack of screen caps, when there is soooooo much out there in sm right now. It seems like almost daily we are getting something from Josh, Andi, and others. Maybe it is blinding me, but I only see something between her and Josh, and Marcus. I see her LOOK at Josh and Marcus differently.

Looking forward to tomorrow's show to get confirmation of what I see.

I find Andi's use of 'stop' annoying, because I think she uses it when she has nothing interesting to say.

I found her clip with Josh interesting, because she was all over him (and him her), but their talk was mega boring & not 'deep' at all. I found them not in the least 'hot' in any way either.

I actually thought Clare was the final one because of what tptb showed me ON THE SHOW. I believe they hid Nikki for the most part. Nikki tweeted the scarf and then I knew, but that was much later in the game. They show us what they want to show us. Could be nothing about how things really went down. They leave out what they want.

You are right about Chris too. and I actually see him as being groomed for the next bachelor.  He is adorable.  

  I love Chris! He is hotttt, OK!! Look at that face and that smile! To me, he is very serious and mature, great husband material, and comes off as older than all of them. He was a real gentleman on that date, a keeper for sure' the next 2 episode will tell a lot about their relationship. IMO, he will definitely make a very good bachelor. but, he only has about 690 followers, not a fan favorite. I guess, there is still more time.

JBf, I don't think the words said by the leads are really a good indicator all the time, cus, they follow some script which the producers can edit as they please. Listening to JaMolly and Chres podcast really open my eyes. According to Jason, he had to tell some women that he loves them even though he didn't. So, anything can happen. I think I have being able to pick them just by watching the leads interactions with his/her favorites, same values, conversations, the playfulness, ease of communication, how do they compliment each other. Also a major indicator has been, the lead thinks this person is too good to be true (lead might not say it, but act like it). I saw this with JP/Ash, Chres(she also said it post show), JP?Nikki (he said it while with her), Andi?Josh(u can see it when she is him). So far, I have being able to pick all of them, I am waiting to see if I get it right this time. I think week 5 or 6 are good cut off to know who is F1. So, I ll see you guys Tuesday. Bye for now.

Sorry to be a debby-downer of sorts, but Chris did say that out of the limo too AND on their first date together. Guess it depends on who you believe more....or who that line matters to more in the scheme of editing.

Yep, sometimes those SM "clues" can send you off on different directions that in the grand scheme of things don't relate to how the show finishes. Bringing Clare up, but what about the OFF bottle...another SM mis-direct??

It is good that we are keeping the discussion going even if I am throwing in the towel and assuming Chris is F1 and they are hiding him for a reason. We need to see enough "story" with all of the guys... the ones she is "digging deeper" with. That seems to the ongoing storyline with so many... chippin' and diggin' and gettin' them to open up. Andi the archeologist.

For the heck of it, I went ahead and documented... even if they don't matter in the long run...
