Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?

From memory - the F1 always gets some face time with the lead even if it is just a couple of seconds. That is one relationship that progresses in bits and pieces each episode. The conversations (shown) are about them, their feelings etc. whereas for others (non F1) it could be just anything. last season I remember arguing against Clare (I was non-spoiled) because her conversations were always to do with drama, insecurity etc. That was her basic storyline - drama.
Now obviously the other contestants also may have similar conversations about their feelings etc. but those are not necessarily shown.

If we are going by that logic, then only Marcus and Nick qualify as F1. Josh had no scenes with her either last night. He and Chris were on the losing team and both had scenes cut for Harrison's interview. Yet Brian was shown twice in the show with her despite Eric.

Something tells me though, after breaking some rules last season, they are breaking them again. What we "expect" is not what we will get.

I am re-watching Nick's date and they are dishing out the romance and slushy orchestration with three times the gusto of Des and Brooks. Maybe that qualifies him as F1? One thing is for certain. She will say she's in love with him on screen regardless.

Re bolded, was this spoiled or your going by TPTB edit patterns for F2/F3?

I don't believe she will say she's in love with him.

Then your stats are wrong in this instance.

That is why this last episode (4) was a puzzle. They showed squat between them. Yes it could be new editing

Not showing Josh and having to wait an extra week to see their 1-1 could just be the way to build anticipation.  It's effective.  Look how many of us are.
The same goes for not showing much of their conversations.  I have no clue what they've been talking about up to this point.  I'm sure it was more than she likes sushi and he wants to kiss her every day. I think the next epi will be the big reveal.

^^^ITA, notarose. I certainly feel that Andi's and Josh's alone time has had a lot cut out of it, namely any real conversation. We see that she has a way of getting all of the other guys to talk and can carry a conversation. I just don't see that not happening with Josh, too.

^^ Certainly fits pattern of last few B/ette seasons.
