As to your Catherine comment in the other post, she did come in late...but like you say maybe she wasn't really on his radar "much" until that first 1on1. I can see that happening, your attracted by those first impressions (like Andi with Marcus, Josh & Nick) and you focus on them a little more until you get more time with others.

Don't forget everyone, new episode on Sunday. Wonder why their doing 2 episodes back to back?

i agree with in2deep, too! Since it is too early to really tell, i wouldn't be surprised if Andi's F1 turns out be Brian or Dylan or even Ron just like Cat in Sean's season, as ND4 also commented. If that would be the case, i would want Brian as F1. Dylan is ok but not digging his K-Pop (Korean Stars) hair though!

highfives on this, too, MVMom! Josh could be Andi's Chris. You know, *cough* baseball? (again?! #ReadingTooMuch) They have undeniable chemistry and their banter is endearing. They could be the next Chres! However, Josh can be TPTB's next Arie! The Next Bachelor! He's so yummy! Imagine the girls that's gonna do anything just to be chosen as the 25 women to try break his 5 year drought?! haha (And his "credentials" is way too "The Bachelor", isnt it?

And if we're going to the Chres route edit with Josh, then Marcus fits the Brooks role. Not that they have the same personality but with the way Des' was edited at that time. I realized only now, i was "spoiled" then. (i thought i wasn't! #Alzeihmers )  Even when Brooks was the supposed F1, i was rooting for Chris. Des then was portrayed to be "chasing" Brooks. As Andi seems to be chasing Marcus at this point. (might change in future episodes  :Nod: )

However, if our Catherine Boys (is there such a term?! haha I'm sure you get what i mean!) turns out to be one of the F1. (Catherine Edit)  Marcus for me fits the F2 Kyptin/Lindsey role. (again, if he is not the F1) While Josh could be the F3.  

My bets surely will change because Nick V is very much in the running. haha waaaah *pullshair*

I will say the time I was MOST tempted was before the season started I thought I'd clicked one of the couples forms but I found myself staring at the "Spoilers-Andi Dorfman" title! I panicked and hit the back button before I could read through the threads! It was a wake up call that I needed to be more careful!

Haha LibbyBell, great "save"! It is always frustrating to see how "active" the spoiler sections are! Seeing our friends "posting" in there, missing the "juicy" stuff!   

I wonder how we'd beat the Temptation Island?  

Is it possible for our beloved Spoiled friends to bring here the SCs posted there for us non-spoiled to dissect as well?   

We should not only pinky swear but "join" hands in beating the itch by doing our own sleuthing!     ( though i'm a poor sleuth!   ) we can at least try!

It is so hard, nannymargie! I've been "spoiled" since i started except in JuanPab's season! In Sean's season. I decided to "spoil" myself because I love Cat being half-Filipina. However, i must admit there is a grain of truth that being "spoiled" does "color" your eyes. Hence, every Sean's nuances to Cat has "meaning". I'm sure, very much like ND4, i would be scratching my head how Sean picked Cat because she's so hidden if i stayed unspoiled. Those were the lament of most SeanCat fans, actually. They were frustrated with the editing and din't really see the love story until almost the last stretch. They hid the love story even if i was "spoiled".

I've personally been broken-hearted when Chantal wasn't actually Brad's F1. I was blinded by the "spoilers! Ignored the clues by our great sleuths!

In Des' season, It wasn't making any sense to me how Des picked the "spoiled" Brooks (no offense meant, my friend ) I loved Chris but because Brooks was the spoiled F1 i tried so hard to make sense their Love Story. Because of that debacle, I decided to go unspoiled in JuanPab's season. I want to know if I can "pick" the F1. I'm so happy I "chose" Nikki though theirs is not a classic Bachelor finish. I like them!

Yes, nannymargie, dear. I honestly do not know how long i will last!    For now, i'm more curious if i would be able to peg again the F1 even if i'm unspoiled. *heavysigh*

Well good luck to you staying unspoiled. So you say you are choosing Nick at this point?

I have to agree I was disappointed in Des's season because I liked Brooks. But I do watch for clues from the sleuthers for in case the spoiler is wrong.

You can go to the ScreenCaps NO DISCUSSION thread for some s/caps There are quite a few in there.

There are a lot more scattered through the threads, and sometimes they don't all get moved over, but the ones that are there I think you'll enjoy!!

It will give you something to work with!

I try to stay unspoiled for as long as I can so that I can form my own opinion. When I used to read Reality Steve, I would be bored with season since the final one gets so little screen time some episodes esp early on when focus is more on drama. I would fast forward through most of the episode just waiting for those snippets of lead and spoiled f1 and then be too vested in the couple post finale, which was huge waste since so many broke up. Now for past several years I try to stay unspoiled and root for a few guys. Last season I was Chris all the way and totally shocked when I stumbled upon spoiler midway thru season. I kept watching hoping either spoiler wrong or Chris next Bachelor so it made for very satisfying season.

Last season was the first one I stayed unspoiled for in a long time. I enjoyed it but do feel like I miss so much of the discussion on the board that way. I think it makes the show a bit more enjoyable but participating in the board less enjoyable. I think I prefer the board interaction as I don't believe much in the "love story" with this show.

Yes whatever the outcome, the editors do a great job of covering the tracks and misleading the viewers. I know must folks say that they "see" the connection with contestant X when all the while it was just a smoke screen.

I learned from Emily's season that the person that the lead is really into (Arie) may just not end up as F1 for whatever reason. I saw absolutely nothing between her and Jef possibly because there really was nothing ????. But most on the board did. Jef got a great setup in terms of romantic and secluded 1on1 times with edited music playing during their scenes. The editors did their darnedest to sell that connection as a viable one. Does not mean that it was.
The scene that comes to mind was when he wore those Bermuda shorts and they were talking on the beach. You could hear the crickets chirp with the uncomfortable silences. As I said they had nothing to connect with.  

Sorry to go back in time with this discussion but these are things to keep in mind both with the edits.

I totally agree ND4 with Emily season. I was one of those crazy JEM fans and watched thru rose colored glasses chugging Fleiss' koolaid. I was super active on other boards and defended JEM to pathetic degree. I can recall having some doubts during season that Jef could possibly be just a fame wh*re but was easily convinced by the even more die hard Jef fans. Imagine my embarrassment & disgust with my own gullibility when the truth came out. Now I try to watch non biased and am pleasantly surprised if they last six months.
