*NO SPOILERS* The Bachelorette 10 - Episode Discussion

YEY! Finally, a lot of our non-spoiled friends are posting!  :WAVEY: I was so tempted to un-unspoil myself whenever I "see" new posts in the spoiler section. Haha But I enjoyed des' & juanpab's season so much when I joined the "dark"/unspoiled family here haha   hence, I'm trying my darnest to be unspoiled till the end. Pinky-swear, guys?!

Watching Eric's date was heart wrenching! I liked Eric immediately basing on the bios pre-season. It was so hard to hear him talk about his "close-encounter" in Syria. How he texted his parents he loves them. Huhuhu I would've pegged him in the final four   

I thought I was the only one noticing the "akwardness" of Andi & Chris! Perhaps, he was so nervous that it was "transferring" to Andi? Haha wearing "flipflops" on a date with a girl was a major turn-off for me!  Great thing he was "made-up" for the date. During the race track date, when they asked the elderly couple how they met, the "I met him at baseball field" rang a bell for me! FINE! I'm sure that's nothing! Haha speaking of baseball, I've similar "analysis" as MVMom's! Not that Josh is the same level as Arie! No man will match Arie in my books!   But yes, I feel somehow, the edit is similar with Emily's season. I'm sorta distracted with Josh tho because he kinda looks like Coach Spoelstra of Miami Heat  :hidingchair https://www.facebook.com/CoachSpo

Marcus is growing on me. He's not super hot but as of now, Andi seems to like him a lot. It's too early for me to call him as the definitive F1. But if he is, he's sorta the JP (not Jef) arc. I cannot explain it myself haha Though i think the future episode where Andi would be so upset would be the same level as Bentley's of Ashley's, wasn't Marcus the "comfort' after the Craig situation? #JashIsBestBachCoupleEver If he's not F1, perhaps, he is the Sharleen of this season?

Aside from them, on the radar of final four (or 5 or 6!   ) for me is:

A toss between Brian and Nick V (still trying to put my finger on which actor he looks like)

I will form who my F1 is perhaps around the hometown date? Haha it is still too far!! Waaa , Geez, I hope I can control myself and not peep in the spoiler section! *pullshair* #WillHollerForHelp

Thanks Cari-- ITA that it gets hard when there are no new posts and TONS calling you to the spoiled side (that is what prompted my comment)! But, I'll be here to the end-- pinkie swear!! You gotta promise to holler before you get into trouble!

Do you guys need the Season Preview to be posted over on the non-spoiled side? Would that help with sleuthing/discussing ?

Finally got to watch.  My thoughts aren't a lot different from what I've read.  I see a connection developing with Brian though.  She seemed to be very open when talking to him.  She sat close, didn't put her arms up in front of her like she did with Chris. She had her leg bent against his. I can see him going to F6 or more.  They haven't shown enough of their interactions for me to be sure though.

With Chris I saw a distance when sitting and talking.  I also saw her pulling back from Chris' kisses quite a bit.  I noticed when Chris said he had been really close to marriage that she visibly sat back away from him some.  When she gave him the rose and went to hug him, he went for the kiss and she moved off to the side.  I know there was a glimpse of a cornfield with them kissing and I believe he is in the F4 but I don't think he was ever going to be her pick.  I can see him leaving on his own but I don't think her reaction of the crying "no fairytale" to be because of Chris.  

I don't see enough interactions with Ron, Andrew, Dylan or even Marquel to see if they go very far.  Nick V gets a lot of screen time and Tasos talks alot.  Will have to see where their relationship goes with more interaction.  

I do see a lot of chemistry with Josh and I think he is her type.  Question is, can he be different from her type of the past?  I'm not sure.  I think she is pursuing Marcus and am not sure if he is as interested as she is at this point.  I am looking forward to their one on one to see that interaction.  Same with Dylan.  I want to see their date.  Still too many MOT guys for me to get a good sense though.  Not ready at all to pick an F1 or even F4.

ND4, I think at least the link to the season preview that was shown at the end of Epi 1 would be helpful.  I have seen it on youtube but it I needed to be really careful not to pick one with spoilers.  Thanks.

I'll be staying spoiler free as long as possible, I enjoy the show more that way.  I first started looking at spoilers in Brad's 2nd season about midway and was shocked everyone was saying it was Chantal for F1, I didn't see it.

If you have spoilers before the show, you tend to want to "like" a certain person for the lead ignoring/not liking as well the real "maybe" F1. Plus there's not many surprises during the show. I like taking the guys as I see them from episode one, no bios, nothing...first impressions, well, edited ones, haha. Makes for a more even playing field on my likes/dislikes.

Previews, although heavily edited, tend to give me preconceived thoughts about the guys also, but I can't resist watching...I have to know a little something!   

Cari I'm thinking TPTB led Chris to dress that way...no way can I see him dressing like that otherwise for his first date! He's "cute" but I didn't like the outfit he chose for himself for that race...that bow tie, THAT was a turn of for me! Yeah, agree on Eric, can't imagine going into Syria in the first place! Hey, good catch with the baseball comment, didn't even think anything of it! Hmmm!

I want to see more of JJ, Patrick, Dylan & Brian.

(general response) I know in past seasons some of you have called it correctly and thanks to the edit called things very wrong as well.

The one season I watched non-spoiled and stayed away from the boards just so that I could remain unspoiled was Seans season. I totally read that wrong and was shocked when I was looking up stuff on youtube and saw a comment that Catherine was the winner. That was around ep5 or 6 and I literally had to   and wonder "Which one is she ?".

Not sure if that was the edit or she was really not on his radar at that point. Even re-watching back I could not see it till after their 1on1 date.
Guess I'm a bad judge.

So Kudos to you all and keep posting what you see whether right or wrong.

I want to preface this by saying I'm unspoiled - this analysis is simply from being up in the middle of the night and trying not to think about work.

Impressions and sightings from the preview at the end of episode 1:
Nick V: frontrunner in terms of scs: nobody else has that type of hair. He gets a very special date in Europe (see him in Venice), bow tie, Andi in the copper dress.  He talks about losing her - is that the bad omen?
Josh: Mr. Baseball is Mr. Possessive. But I think this is the crazy chemistry edit.
Dylan: He's the sleeper. Steam train and castle…
Marquel: Cute, but is he challenging/ taking on one of the other guys?
Cody: Goes after Andrew, and professes his attraction in Europe, maybe with the limo (or clever editing)
Tasos: shows concern when something is going down… friend edit?
JJ: looks like the cat who ate the canary
Eric: Beach and snow – when does he go? I agree, it's heart-wrenching. I hope Andi doesn't feel any guilt for letting him go.
Marcus: private concert, gets some good kisses, voted Most Likely to be the next Bachelor - again, his hair is unique compared to the others – I think he gets a date in epi 3
Chris - Santa Anita racetrack and on to an evening date, wearing a bow tie. And what I think is an aha! Chris gets a HTD! They're standing in a cornfield kissing!  

Sleuthing... The steam locomotive #40 is either in New Hope PA or (more likely imo) in Ely, NV. Not too many of these around. I’m pretty sure it’s Dylan, as he has the only hair that long.

The fancy building is the Palais Longchamps in Marseilles, home to the museum of art and the museum of natural history, built sometime between 1830 and 1870.

I looked at the preview again and heard Andi say softly in a VO, "i love Brussels." So i did some old fashioned sleuthing - the sc where there is a group date (or 2-on-1) is at Montaigle Castle ruins, an hour south of Brussels. I hadn't realized that they went to Belgium.  I don’t know what castle Andi and Dylan are walking up to, but I don’t think it’s Montaigle…

Perhaps the structure we see from the sailboat is Chateau d'if, in the middle of Marseilles harbor. Built in 1524, it was a prison and was the setting for the prison used for the Count of Monte Cristo. It is closed on Mondays, but perhaps they made an exception... and is that Josh with her?

Well, that does it for me.  Let's do some more sleuthing! Stay unspoiled with me…please!

Thanks in2deep for great analysis of preview. I am anxious to see her interactions with some of the current under the radar guys like Dylan, Ron and Brian. I am also anxious to get more of Nick V,  JJ and Marquel. Not so much Cody ... can't believe he gets date unless just to have a guy she boots off.

But last season I was constantly shocked Zack was still around week after week and getting so much airtime. Z eventually grew on me but he seemed such a producer pick. I wouldn't mind another Sean season like nd4 mentioned above where Catherine came out of nowhere around episode 4. Surprise is fun.

BUT wanted to add I always read Bachelorette blogs for clues and she has had back to back glowing remarks about Josh in particular, which could mean he's her f1 or next Bachelor. At this stage I am leaning towards next Bachelor. And yes I know that ABC has heavy hand in how written but still a solid clue. Her recap of date with Chris was nice but not over top or effusive.

finally... look at banner for next week. She has Marcus right next to her while singing. I am pretty sure CH said that the singing date was a favorite ... not that his comment means anything but interesting side note.

I don't know about the rest of you and the spoiled folks are going to get sick of me but I am super excited to see the Boys 2 Men date. First off I think they are great great vocal harmony band and watching contestants sing and flub their way through those harmony effused songs is going to be a killer   .
