*NO SPOILERS* The Bachelorette 10 - Episode Discussion

Well since the only reference I can make is RFL indeed, it's all over again Tim-Jenna, Hailey (so there goes my prediction how this TB ends). I see great chemistry between Josh and Andy and the fact that TPTB doesn't show us their conversations (in-depth ones, not the arguing - although even that is very much telling) doesn't mean there is no mental-connection, because even without knowing Andy enough, but taking in consideration that she is intellectual girl, with her line of profession and everything, she must feel some sort of connection with Josh aside for the aesthetic, otherwise she wouldn't be "jumping on him" (I mean kissing him passionately, people relax, PG mind here). Actually the fact that Andy repeats how much she connects mentally with Nick makes me even more convinced that that's all there is ... great connection of minds, great conversations, so their time together is pleasant and probably more enjoyable than her time with other guys (excluding Josh), but she is missing that primal attraction, chemistry, that in that setting (but even in general in life) is important (for me a MUST).
About Nick and his "real" feeling for Andy ... I think he is infatuated, but nowhere near in-love, I also don't think he is really ready to get to propose to her (if he would be chosen at the end) ... and since my observation regarding the editing of the show and eye-contact that Andy shares with Josh (GD, RC ... she keeps the wondering eye on him) gives me the idea that Nick cannot be her final choice, I'm so more eager to "defend" Nick over harsh critics because of his behavior "towards" the guys - I believe his actions "in the house" are OK, and nothing to scandalize over ... but since this season it seems that the group of guys really is on the great level for a show of this caliber (OK, I say it, it's trashy, but we all love good entertainment) ... the guys are actually really good and cooperating among each other, so the TPTB needed to create some drama for the show's sake and draw some lines, gave some questions, narrated some ideas to make the guys talk and get some "steam" out of their chest ... you know, the abstinence makes people do things, ahahahaha.
OK - so my point. I'm fine with Josh (or any other guy) ... I have nothing bad to say about him, just that I prefer (for myself, only for myself, eheheh) Nick ... he just gives me more pleasure watching "the show" ... then whether "his intentions are real or not" to me is not even important - maybe that's bad, because I don't care enough about Andy, although I usually am really supportive of women first, hate women-hate-bashing-act - but see, here I blame TPTB, because they haven't given me enough of real Andy to get to know her to be sympathetic with her, since I wasn't following previous seasons.
Anyway, I like Nick as a person per se, but in this game he might not be the right match, neither she for him ... as far my opinion goes for now.

I do think TPTB rely on you having watched past season to know who the lead is. They have so many loyal viewers I think they make it a point to not really let you get to know the lead. They figure you already know them from the previous season and it would just be old news to the viewers. I think they feel the viewers are more interested in getting to know the guys and their connection with Andi. Not saying it's right or wrong, but I think that is how they see it.

Here is the Bromance video.  The part I found interesting is when Andrew talks about the friendship of Nick and Josh.  Seems they were really close in the house.  At least when they arrived in France (before Josh had any 1on1 dates).  If it plays out as them being F1 and F2 I wonder how it will affect their friendship.  I would think it would be hard on the F2, no?  I just love the Bromances just as much as the Romance, sometimes more.  Interested to see how they re after the show.

We didn't see that scene that their talking about right, Andi confronting them about the bromances. It seems a bit unfair/unrealistic of her to expect that from all of them. I'm sure a few could tell that she wasn't as into them as others...and really in the end she only picks one of them. Guess that's why I could never be the bachette, I'd feel bad about "leading" someone or a "bunch" of someones on and in the end break a few hearts. Speculating, but I'm wondering how Andi would've taken what she said if it had been JP saying it on his season? "You are here for me, I'm the prize here, you don't need to be all buddy/buddy, I'm the one you need to impress". It's a hard situation all vying for the same lead, she's been through that already and should know how things roll. No tv, phones, etc...they only have each other, it's natural they'll form those close friendships. As for Nick & Josh being close friends, and being the top 2 contenders I feel, yeah, it'll be interesting to see what happened after the show. Nick's pretty confident he's the one...I'm not as confident as he is.

I found it interesting who spoke, or was shown speaking, during that scene. I noticed that Marcus started to talk then it cut to someone else talking. Was that scene shown as a deleted scene to further the narrative that the guys know Nick well. In fact, he and Josh were close. So when they are talking about Nick not being there for the right reason, there is some backup that they know what they are talking about. I think the deleted scenes are only for those of us who follow closely. That helps to lead us to the conclusion that Josh is F1. Could it be misdirection?

We did. It was her "melt down" right after Eric left.

GG-She didn't really say anything about the "bromances" though did she? Just if they weren't there for her, they could leave.

Random thought as I watch. They are portraying Nick as someone who if he doesn't win, has no shot at the Bachelor. He is smug, rude and condescending to the rest of the guys and for that matter to Andi. Boy he is not the Bach and I don't think F1.

This is a rant, team Nick you might not want to read.   

Nick is cocky, wow! He poured it on thick tonight. Still don't like him, still think he's fake, edit or no! Pretty revealing with the way he acted, talked, reacted, and everything the guys said about him...and this wasn't just this episode! Yeah, he's not getting a great edit at all, can't imagine why...oh maybe because he's playing everybody.  

Not surprised with Dylan and Brian leaving, I think most of us got the F4 right, high fives y'all!

Uh yeah right, on Nick getting that key! Wish he'd of just got on his knee right there and proposed...they could of eloped and we wouldn't have to see the rest of the guys basically get slapped in the face with the way she's with Nick and throws it in their face! She's so greedy wanting them all to say how they feel about her, wanting to hear those love words while at the same time, she really only has feelings for Nick & Josh, ugh. 

Josh finally says what Andi wants to hear...WHY JOSH!! RUN! haha Still think he's F1 unfortunately, he said the magic words...game over. 

Marcus-he's such a cutie!! This show drives me nuts, why do I watch??!

I think it is his personality and the show is highlighting it. My question is why? Could it be a Courtney edit? I think they are trying to make us think he is like Courtney but I don't think so. I just don't see him as the final one. More later. Off to work.

This episode was pure gold ... the best so far ... Nick (oh my Nick) was adorable (I get that who doesn't like him would see opposite and find him irritating) ... Josh once again is shown to me to be the most possible choice of F1 ... Andy is just into him (more than others) ... like we say it "non c'e trippa per i gatti" that should mean (online translation, not sure it's right) "There isn't a snowball's chance in hell" for others (even Nick, sadly, though a small hope for someone should exist) ... and then there is Andy ...
you know how I complained that they haven't showed me enough of real Andy to make my opinion of her and make me care ...
well, they've done it now ...
good job TB producers ... damn you for making me care ...
so the result: I like Andy. Positive.

The rest of my deduction I'll write once I wrap my head around how to put it down in words, to not spoil anything here with my SM knowledge, but purely stating my understanding of events.
