I am not saying that Andi was right to ask him to leave, but we do not (nor may we ever) know exactly what went on.
What I do stand by is that leading people on to a certain extent is going to happen every single season.
I still think Eric wasn't entirely into her either, or maybe he would have fought a little harder to stay.

I am going to wait and see what happens tonight. And again….editing. We know they aren't going to make Eric look bad, I have a feeling Andi will take the brunt of it.

So back to Andi.  I have to admit that Nick's video seems to cement the deal.  I would love another foiled season, only because I don't like knowing the outcome from the get-go.  I could forego the spoilers, but then I'm miss out on posting with "ya'll".

I'm not crazy about MF's production ploys to get people's emotions all up; in a world where domestic violence is prevalent, it upsets me to see that the network and TPTB feel it's okay to show contestants yelling at each other.

Off rant.

Maybe Andi didn't mean it to come off this way, but to me she was totally "whatever" when she was talking to Eric, her mind probably on just happened or upcoming makeouts with Josh, Marcus or Nick.

I'm sure to a perceptive person it was obvious they weren't making a romantic connection and her mind was already elsewhere. She wouldn't even throw him a bone that his first date was special or it was a really great date when he was fishing for some reassurance. To me at that point you either fake it as long as you make it, or say see ya. I guess Eric chose to be honest rather than just carry along until his part in the story was done. So unfortunate that going back home to his real loves and passions ended in such sorrow.

I dread watching this whole part of the show really, for both sides of it.

My thoughts on the situation:

I don't love Andi and I certainly don't hate her. I actually think she's a pretty good lead that is intelligent and does seem interested in getting to know the guys regardless if she's actually attracted to them. It's her job to act and that's why she gets paid. It's just my opinion, but I would be tired as all heck if I had to act interested in 25 guys, make out with them, go on dates with him, act interested when in reality I really only wanted to get to know about three or four. It sounds silly saying it's difficult because that's what she signed up for, but it is difficult. Eventually I'm going to assume it takes a toll on you.

There are not enough adjectives for me to describe how amazing Eric seemed to be. What a guy. He certainly lived life to the fullest and was so bright. It's heartbreaking to think he isn't able to live anymore. For him to call out Andi though on acting, not being there to find love and being a phony, well I find that to be a tiny bit hypocritical. All 25 guys on that show went on there for numerous reasons and I bet it's safe to say that love wasn't a top priority for them. The lead acts. The contestants act. Plain and simple. No doubt about it. After all, Eric was doing a documentary.

I'm going to assume Andi probably already knew who she wanted for hometowns at this point, at least it's obvious to me anyway, and she had to continue to act through that and according to her she was "tired" so when Eric accuses her of that, well I can kind of see why she would flip her lid a bit. If this wasn't being filmed and it was just two people having a heated conversation, the normal thing would have been to say yes - part of this involves acting, but they need to make a television show out of this. Production wants Andi to lose it. I also would bet a good amount of money that production pushed Eric to confront her too.

At the end of the day, it certainly doesn't make Andi and especially Eric bad people. Unfortunately, this is the power production holds. I'm hoping things aren't too bad for the both of them. With Eric's passing I'm assuming Andi feels pretty sucky that this is how her last conversation with a really sweet, good hearted guy went. Fingers crossed it won't be too bad.

I agree, Andi could have disagreed with him, in a civil manner and let him go at RC, or was she afraid he was going to tell her he wanted to leave? Shoe on other foot situation.

Either way, life doesn't always take place in a courtroom.

He called her a fake and phoney supposedly that's far different than calling the show a farce....

EXACTLY, as long as the Bachelor/ette be on the lead has lead people on......I don't know what's so different about it this season.....
