We have to give both of them the benefit of the doubt at this point. Too sticky all around. We'll never know what truly happened or how they felt/she feels. I do have to say though, and no disrespect to Andi because I do like her (especially as the ette) but if we were just going off who we prefer as individuals, I pick Eric. No questions. I could side with Andi on this whole situation, probably moreso than with Eric. But the larger role is the people that they are/were...and I choose Eric. I hope everything runs as smooth as possible tonight. If they show it, Andi AND Eric will both be looking unfavorable imo..

Andi problem with JP was that he wasn't into her and she knew it......

They were just soooo not a match. No way could they have made it together. They were just two good looking people who liked kissing each other, and I think the overnight dates made that obvious to both, and then TPTB nudged a storyline out of it.

All 25 guys on that show went on there for numerous reasons and I bet it's safe to say that love wasn't a top priority for them. The lead acts. The contestants act. Plain and simple. No doubt about it. After all, Eric was doing a documentary.

I'm going to assume Andi probably already knew who she wanted for hometowns at this point, at least it's obvious to me anyway, and she had to continue to act through that and according to her she was "tired" so when Eric accuses her of that, well I can kind of see why she would flip her lid a bit. If this wasn't being filmed and it was just two people having a heated conversation, the normal thing would have been to say yes - part of this involves acting, but they need to make a television show out of this. Production wants Andi to lose it. I also would bet a good amount of money that production pushed Eric to confront her too.

At the end of the day, it certainly doesn't make Andi and especially Eric bad people. Unfortunately, this is the power production holds. I'm hoping things aren't too bad for the both of them. With Eric's passing I'm assuming Andi feels pretty sucky that this is how her last conversation with a really sweet, good hearted guy went. Fingers crossed it won't be too bad.

Does it really matter whether or not Andi looks bad tonight after what happened to Eric ?
We all know that the show is Fake - not Andi . You have to be a little " fake " to be the lead on this show - like Kashadiva said earlier.
Eric seems way to genuine to be caught up in all of the
drama and manipulation by TPTB. Him leaving probably the best thing for him at the time- he seemed so thrown by all of the phoniness of this show. So sad and tragic what happened a few weeks later.

The courtroom was run by manipulative jesters. The machine prodded Eric and urged him on most likely. The machine prodded Andi and urged her on most likely. KABOOM.
Unfortunately, no one knew Eric was going to die shortly after this debacle which was probably intensified by TPTB.

When I think about this, it must have been very difficult for Andi to deal with this, when she heard the news. Considering the last time she saw him, she told him off, or whatever it is she does, I would have crumbled with sorrow.

Deception is the name of this game and EVERYONE knew it when they signed up. As for Andi expecting all of the attention, she is the Lead and it's about her journey to find love. So the focus is suppose to be on her.

It wouldn't surprise me if Andi's defense mechanism against some kind of "failure" is anger. She responded to JPG's rejection and his statement of "you barely made it here" with going off on him. Her "failure" to appeal to JPG had to be turned around on him to where he was the one with the problem -- he was insincere, he was self-absorbed, etc.

Now, her "failure" as a lead, to be sincere and honest with the guys is being turned around on Eric, so he is the one with the problem. He has "no idea" how hard she has been trying, how "exhausted" she is from being there for the guys, etc. He "judges" her as a phoney and she blasts him to show how wrong he is.

Andi strikes me as someone who struggles with failure as many high achievers do. Her response to that is to lash out. She can't own it -- she needs to find a reason outside herself.

Obviously, I'm only speculating as to why Andi had the reaction she had. I wasn't there and don't know her, but this is what's making sense to me as I view her behavior.

Frankly, I like Andi as a lead. She's smart, and we actually get to have some decent conversations with the guys as she gets to know them. I'll cut her some slack as I'm sure she felt the pressure, but she's human...and only 27 years old. Frankly, I think I was pretty clueless about self-awareness when I was in my twenties. I've frequently said I didn't grow up until I was in my thirties.

As I listened to the preview a couple of times, it strikes me that Eric was trying to explain that he didn't mean it the way she took it. I think it was a classic case of miscommunication.

ETA: Yes, GA, I think that would be a very troubling memory for her to have regarding this show.
