Bachelorette 10 - Andi Dorfman - Episode 4 - Mon June 2/14 *Spoilers & Sleuthing* - Discussion

I think to be fair they should either not show what happened with Eric out of respect with his family or.... Show exactly what went down. I think from the previews they are going to show it, and I think it will only be fair to both Eric and Andi to show exactly what happened. They should not edit it to benefit either, and let the audience judge for themselves, IMO.

I hate to say this...but I'm with Eric on this one. I think Andi planned to be on the Bachette before she even started JPab season.

She's acting BIG TIME.

Her scolding of JPab was and "audition" to be on ABC.
Me thinks that being on TV is in the cards for her. Otherwise, she'd be in Atlanta meeting men of her dreams. Atlanta is hoping with HUNKS. Just sayin.

Eric apparently calls her out on being an actress, phony and that she wasn't really there to find love. Andi becomes angry at his accusations and they get into a pretty big argument and she has him leave.

I have screen caps that virtually prove it's Eric that Andi unloads on, based on hair and a neckline match. I'm choosing not to post them, but, honestly, there is no doubt in my mind that it's Eric. How much will actually see tonight remains to be seen.

Why not storming out on Andrew instead? they have ramped up the drama in prev ep after all

Lets be real. IF there was something about Eric that lady in charge did not like suddenly and she really did unload on him - how are they going to sugar coat it ?
I personally cannot imagine what he could have done that was so bad BUT Andi did.


Could they just pretend that he did not get a rose at the RC and not show his exit ? Doubt that would be swung effectively.

Lets wait and see what goes on today. Grahams exit was very heavily edited and Erics will also.

It may be worth watching the Eric/Andi Cocktail party Scene again. I think I may understand why he gets a little frustrated with her...

-Andi stopping their conversation to read the note from Nick V.'s flowers was kinda rude. She probably should have waited. It was awkward

-He seemed to be looking for some reassurances ..i.e saying their first date was the BEST.. Andi saying the Boys II Men date was good instead.

-I see no touching nothing going on at all so I'm convinced they have not kissed yet

-Did anyone noticed how the camera zoomed in too his face when he says "now that I understand what LITTLE TIME to get to know each other??

I wonder if Andi was planning to send him home but felt guilty about reading Nick V. note with a smile on her face in his presence.

You mean, Eric got what the farce show was about and got unloaded on by Andi, because he didn't just didn't wait to be dumped like she wanted? I don't get it.

RS says Eric called her out on her acting or phoniness and she got really upset and went off on him before sending him home. That's why she cancelled the cocktail party. Obviously Eric was really naive about the premise of the show and very perceptive about Andi. Im sure the producers egged him to confront her.

More like, Eric touched on the truth and Andi couldn't handle it.

Eric was a wordly, traveled person. He has seen a lot of simple, spontaneous things in his travels and different threads of real life.
I would suspect the entire scene of the "just so happens" flowers being delivered during his time, Andi taking the time to address the flowers and note, again, during his time and then being off kilter the rest of her time shown with him, made a huge impact.
Did it make him realize what a farce this was compared to real life? Perhaps. But it definitely showed the differences between real life and reality tv and maybe he asked himself did he really want to be a part of this.
In real life there are no retakes. In real life you would have had the social graces to say: "Oh flowers how nice." Moved them off to the side and address them at a more appropriate time. This is reality tv. So they made the most of Andi's response and some of it regardless of producer ploy was plain rude and insensitive.

I am OK with all of this. BUT does he have to call her a phony first? The lead has to pretend to some extent. Otherwise, the seasons would last 4 episodes! (Maybe less in JP and Ash's case!)

IDK. I guess we will have to see how it plays out tonight.
I am a pretty upfront person. I have tried to refrain more as I get older, (ha), but maybe the whole thing was so contrived to Eric after he witnessed it that he could not get passed it and wanted to call her on the fact. There is a difference between saying to someone:"you are phony" vs "this situation is phony".  
I guess we will have to see how it unfolds.
