Juan Pablo Galavis was hardly a familiar name until he surfaced on TB. Like some have pointed out, he should have been more reasonable in handling the situation. I'm sure his mother will work hard to reestablish him but he'll never reach the pinnacle that he could have attained with the help of TPTB. Unless JP changes his way of thinking and his behavior, even with his mother's help, he'll be no further ahead than what he was before he came on the show.

My Amusing thought: how do we know JPG DIDNT INTENTIONALLY throw that comment out to put the gay bachelor debate back on the table. It definetly was debated for some time ... a social issue front page because of a reality tv show.

Why this is possible (conspiracy theory)
- we now think by the time filming ended, JPG was "done" with the process. He and CH were barely talking as seen at their last sit down in St. Lucia
- JPG has stated that he has a gay cousin who I think could be R. who has appeared several times on the show
- when the whole fiasco occurred, friends of JPG who are gay came to his defense as did either his mom or sister
- JPG is passionate about at least 1 social cause - sosvenesula
- his handler is gay and recently posted a pic on his own IG with JPG and a 3rd guy with a "3 amigos" caption so obviously something was resolved as his handler doesn't do publicity shot
- WTA - Charleen talked about the issue of equality, including the gay issue, without prompting from CH. There is no way of knowing if CH would have meantioned the gay comment at all as it wasn't in the show, it was after. I think Kelly brought it up in the context of her dad being gay then Sharleen commented. (Maybe they tag-teamed CH). Interestingly Kelly also tweeted her acceptance of his apology (he had posted on his Facebook) after WTA where it could be legimately discussed rather than weeks before when he has posted the apology.
- at ATFR it was clear JPG wanted privacy for their relationship to grow naturally. If he became a giant douche, he would still be honouring his contract but TPTB wouldn't be able to force them to do interviews or appearances because the public wouldn't want to hear about them anymore. He basically got Nikki & himself out of being owned by the TPTB by making it a poor business decision for TPTB to parade them around.

Your bolded theory has merits. It's a brilliant move to extricate himself from TPTB without breaking his contract. He stated he's done with the show and anyway he has nothing to lose. His reputation has been shredded to pieces; but on the flip side, he got Nikki who stood by him despite all the nasty rumors. JP luck out in getting a partner in Nikki. If JP has chosen Claire, is she strong enough to stand by her man amidst these controversies?

Definitely lucked out! He even said as much to Nikki after she met his family. Something like "I'm so glad you signed up for this show" when they were standing by the van.
I suspect Clare would be loyal in a non-tv scenario. She does wear her emotions on her sleeve and I think that the whole format of this show is not a good fit for her. There have been other final picks who couldn't deal with aspects of the show even though they thought they were prepared. Once you actually live it is when you really know.

and considering the HUGE ratings of ATFR, maybe they miscalculated and having him on DWTS would have been a coup!

I honestly think it is wrong for TPTB to create these monsters on the show and ansd cause people unnecessary pain in their lives outside the Bachelor. I have no problem with editing to create doubt and somewhat hide the chosen one, but to go to lengths of denigration is just cruel. Fleiss and his minions are playing god and messing with people's lives.
What they did to Brad 1.0, Michelle Money, JuanP, Ryan Bowers, threatened to do to Jason, wrong wrong wrong!
The Bachelor Australia, and Canada managed without resorting to such tactics. and a very good shows too!

Question:May I know the reasons why Juan Pablo and his beautiful ex wife broke up? And did his ex wife say something or atleast speak up about this controversies that her ex husband experiencing right now ? How is Camilla doing right now ?

I read an article about Nikki's ex that he warned her about Juan Pablo. But nikki doesn't care. To tell you doesn't mean anything but looking Nikki's ex , he is more handsome than Juan pablo and look much nicer guy although her ex and Juan pablo are in the same built. Nikki's ex really concerned about her relationship to Juan pablo. And I think it is disturbing that even an ex who knew his ex gf well and forced to watch the show just because of his ex in it did not get the good vibes with them. Not that on nikki or Jpab and the public would care about what is her ex opinion since they were no longer together .

They were never married. Camila was a (lovely) accident, which they realised after they had broken up. They tried to make it work for 2 years for her sake and couldn't.
As far as I know Carla is very supportive of Nikki and JP, she has never spoken out badly about either.

I really despise when the ex's come out of the woodwork with information and/or comments about the contestants. I realize that Nikki's ex didn't have anything negative to say about her, but why give an interview in the first place? Oh, that's right....$$$.

As to the second part, why did her ex feel the need to warn her? Does he know JP personally? He is not in their relationship, so I don't understand why he felt the need to comment. As long as they're happy, that's what matters.
