Its a bittersweet for me. Although im team Carla, i hope at least JPab dropped his L word for Nikki on their loveydovey sessions post FRC. It wont hurt that it was in exotic place, either.

Good question? I think he did n't want to do it to spite the MF. I think we know it when Chres are invited to the engagement party. I don't think there will be a wedding on TV. Juan is done with them. did you see his sister tweets?

Yes, i saw the tweets. She tweeted about the earrings worn by Nikki during MTP. From what i understand, it was design by their dad and was given to her by JP. I have rewatched the episode and Nikki was pointing to her ears before the end of her conversation with JP dad, but there was no audio.

So that was her birthday present on her HTD from JuanPa and family.  My gosh..that meant that he really cared for her for sometime.  

I mean, you can tell the way he treated her, she was special to him. He treated her totally different than all the others, everybody saw it. Yet she never chased him.
They had this innocent relationship that so far I have only seeing with Chris and Des on their dates. Nikki PI use words like "I just know it, can't put my finger on it, it is just right" these words were used my Chris S, i think also JP. These contestants were very confident in that relationship, almost too confident cus of what the lead does for them, things you and I don't get to see cus MF don't want us to see that part. Des, on the last podcast said that she was disappointed that they didn't show Chris winning personality. she said he was the wittier, funnier out of all of them, MF chose not to show that.
Rewatching Nikki's HTD. it was so clear that he fitted very well in her family, and he saw that too. The way they were in front of the car before leaving is exactly like Chris and Des, arms in arms, and he didn't want to let go, same as Des, a lot of similarities.

And that song on the deleted scene?OMG! "you re the only one for me", Come on! He knew.

However, IMO the lead knows in his or her heart. They way they treat that person is different than the others. I think the lead has a problem recognizing the right fit cus the relationship is too easy or breaks the pattern of what they usually go for, so it seams "almost too good to be true" Des words on her blog. It 's a realization of what they have know all along in their heart, but was resisting. These kind of relationship are deeper and have substance, They are not defined by the physical chemistry, even though it's there, it is not the dominant characteristic in the relationship. Wow! I am impressed my theory (based on many years of successfully cancelling singles and married couples).  
Juan and Nikki got the same edit Chris and Des got on their deep of the relationship. Juan and Clare got the same edit as Chris and Des on the physical aspect like the yacht, the song, the helicopter, the kissing on the rock.

IMO, If Juan didn't resist the process, the story line would have being the Chres storyline physical chemistry vs substance of the relationship. And what I noticed, whenever the physical chemistry overpowers the relationship to the point where that's all people are talking about it's NO Fit. It's the communication that matter most, of course the chemistry have to there too, but not the focus cus they go to the show to found a wife or husband not a have a flingue. Well! that was long

I think these forums are a great place to learn about relationships and growth, because of the many views from different people. Very refreshing for a lifetime student like myself, also exciting. Feel free to correct me, Like Juan, English is my second language, lol

Jason said that they made him propose to Melissa knowing he was not in love with her. Wow! They really want you to sell your soul to them.

I dont know about y'all but this was my best season of the Bachelor EVER!
Its realistic, flawed, honest and ended with two people who actually get each other.
Not saying everything JP did was right but isnt that waht being human is about? Its real, we all live in a world where we sometimes do wrong, say wrong and act wrong. We have been sold this fairytale ending for years and years and only got 3 lucky ones from a possible.....20/ 25 endings. Not everyone is expressive or quock to fall in love. Some take their time. It was Juan Pablos moment and he navigated it as best as he could. Remained open( unlike pasts who claimed to) and went with th girl best suited to him.
Chris Harrison isnt a god that cant be spoken back at, I am especially happy JP didnt pander to the production's crap.
Sean and catherine, bless them, have their asses owned for now. They surely cant afford to bite the hands that feeds them.

I wish JP and Nikki nothing but the best and as nikki said, time will tell. Cant see them doing any worse than the many in love couples that have graced our screens from the bachelor land.

I disagree. I have a cousin with aspergers that can listen and communicate better than pabs. CH told him all of us went on this journey with him and he responded with, "It doesn't matter." That is basically how he has responded to anyone's disappointment or hurt all season. IT DOESN"T MATTER! He can't even acknowledge it. Think about what he said to Clare in the helicopter, yet still no regret? We know he is capable of this, so why would Nikki be immune from it? It's just a matter of time before he treats Nikki with the same disrespect. I would say he is a narcissist, but I think he is just really really dumb- "simple" as his mom said. It has nothing to do with the him not proposing or saying he loves her yet. For anyone, celebrating Nikki and paps, would you want your daughter with him? I bet Nikki's parents are mortified by it all.

Maggen and glazed, here is my take on what went down (cut from a post I made in the AFTR thread). I'm not convinced that they did but, if they did, it was choice she made knowing that she did not have all the info and maybe it led to "buyer's remorse" on her part?

What did Juan Pablo say to Clare:
This is the scenario that makes most sense to me— Clare asked the question that she reiterates later on at their LCD “Do you know me enough to propose to me in 2 days?” This is a no win for both of them—especially since Clare was F2; in her ITM Clare says that Juan Pablo says something sexual. Given Juan Pablo’s “honesty”, he is compelled to tell her No, I don’t think I know you well enough but then he needs to add AT THE VERY LEAST: I know I like kissing you or AT WORST: You’ll make a great f@#*buddy. For Clare, I suspect that this has been an issue in some of her past relationships and is why it doesn’t set well with her so what she hears is: what we have is only physical. Was Juan Pablo that crass and blatant, I doubt it, but it doesn’t matter—it is how Clare viewed it. What she needed to do is think about the situation (her knowledge of the show) and LISTEN to her inner voice. She was getting the information that she needed from Juan Pablo but she ignored it. I thought CH should have stuck up for Juan Pablo and reminded Clare he's not allowed to tell you you're the one. I get it: when it is someone else misreading the clues, they are dumb but when it is YOU, he led her on.

They bleeped it, but he said, "I loved f'ing you" in response to her question of do you love me. I agree she had the info she needed at that moment.
